Kuer River is located at the intersection of the administrative area of Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province and Shi Ye District, hongxing forestry bureau City, Yichun City, and is the location of Red Star Wetland National Nature Reserve.

The Kurbin Rime is formed by the Kurbin River. Korla River is formed by the confluence of six rivers: Meishan, Xifeng, Yangguang, Kelin, Fenghua and Cuibei. Originated in Yichun Friendship Forestry Bureau, it flows into Heilongjiang via Xunke County, with a river length of more than 300 kilometers. There is a Kurbin Reservoir in the upper reaches, which belongs to the alpine dammed lake.
