Personal experience, things to pay attention to when traveling to North Korea.
North Korea has long known about tourism. They joined the World Tourism Organization in the late 1980s. At present, the largest travel agency is North Korea International Travel Service, with offices in Shenyang, Beijing, Dandong and Yanji. In 2008, China opened North China as an outbound tourist destination to Korean citizens. Up to now, more than 2,000 foreign tourists come to North Korea every day, of which 80% are from China.
Due to too many people, Global Times reported in March 2065438+2009 that North Korea will "restrict the flow" of foreign tourists and let 1000 tourists enter the country every day. The reason is simple: hotels and transportation in North Korea are limited, and it is impossible to bear too many tourists.
There are many things that Korean tourists should pay attention to when traveling to North China. Let's take a brief look:
First of all, Korean tourists can only go to North China in the form of group tours at present.
It is stipulated that foreigners must be assisted by the reception unit of North Korea during their stay in North Korea. If you go to the embassy or consulate alone, people will not accept it.
At present, there are many cities in China that can travel to North Korea. You need to apply for relevant travel to the travel agency about 10 days in advance and apply for a group visa. The most convenient cities are Dandong and Yanji, because they are close to North Korea.
Secondly, what you bring is actually very loose.
There are only those high-powered telescopes, professional cameras, video cameras and so on in North Korea. Is not allowed. Other ordinary mobile phones and cameras will do.
Eating in North Korea, there is meat in the group meal. The key is that white rice is delicious, so you don't need to bring instant noodles or compressed biscuits.
At present, China's aunts like to go to North Korea best, and they prefer to go there to experience nostalgia or history.
Third, foreign tourists must abide by the regulations of travel agencies when they go to North Korea.
Northern China has been improving its tourist reception capacity. Yangjiao Island Hotel, which mainly receives southern tourists, also cooperates with China and was once managed by China people. There is also a foreign-related senior hotel-Korea Hotel, which mainly receives European and American guests.
Koreans don't like your visit, so don't offer to go home as a guest. In recent years, some travel agencies in northern China have launched family tours for Pyongyang citizens in response to tourists' curiosity, and only need to communicate with tour guides in advance, which won't increase much money.
When visiting Kim Il Sung Square, I met several passing children wearing red scarves from time to time. When you meet us, I will say "hello" in Chinese and bow politely.
Fourth, North Koreans don't like you taking pictures of others.
Walking on the streets of Pyongyang, what you see is neat and clean, you can't see strange clothes, rags, beggars and spitting at will. . Look up at the residential buildings along the street. There are small flowers on the windowsill, but there are no quilts and clothes to dry.
China tourists are curious when walking around North Korea, so they like to capture the expressions of characters, which is not allowed. In the Triumph Youth Paradise, we filmed the children playing in the play, and two male parents looked at us warily. Something doesn't feel right. Let's go away at once. Without thinking, the two parents followed us for more than ten meters before turning back. We didn't dare to tell the tour guide about it either.
Fifth, North Koreans don't like being judged.
This is the characteristic of our tourists in China. You can comment when you walk. The key is to keep pointing and let the tour guide constantly remind you to discourage you. The tour guide told us that the beautiful female traffic police in Pyongyang was very shy to be photographed by tourists from China, but now when she saw the tourist bus coming, she immediately turned around and didn't give you a straight face.
