List of prohibited tourist attractions and times in Beijing during the Spring Festival
During the Spring Festival, some attractions in Beijing will be closed. Friends who plan to travel to Beijing, please pay attention to the relevant opening hours and other information to avoid the situation where the attractions are closed and empty. Please understand it in advance.
The Palace Museum
Closing time: Closed all day on New Year’s Eve (January 24). Opening hours: Open normally from the first day of the first lunar month (January 25th) to the sixth day of the first lunar month (January 30th). The third day of the first lunar month (January 27) falls on a Monday and is open as normal. Opening hours during the Spring Festival: opening time 08:30, closing time 15:40, closing time 16:30.
National Museum
Opening hours: Closed for one day on January 24 (New Year’s Eve). Open from January 25th (the first day of the first lunar month) to January 30th (the sixth day of the first lunar month). The opening time is 9:00, the closing time is 16:00, and the closing time is 17:00. On January 25 (Saturday), the nightclub will be open as normal. Normal business will be held on Monday, January 27th (the third day of the first lunar month). During the Spring Festival, a real-name appointment visitation mechanism (time-sharing) will be implemented, with 36,000 people making appointments every day until the capacity is full.

Prince Gong’s Mansion
Opening hours: 1. The museum will be closed all day on New Year's Eve and the first day of the first lunar month (January 24th and 25th). 2. Normal business will start from the second day of the first lunar month (January 26). The opening time is 8:30, the ticket check-in time is 16:10, and the closing time is 17:00. Third, the third day of the first lunar month (January 27) falls on a Monday and is open normally.
Beijing Museum of Natural History
Opening hours:
1. The museum will be closed all day on January 24 (New Year’s Eve) and January 25 (New Year’s Day).
2. From January 26th to January 30th, the museum will be open normally at 9:00 am, 13:00 pm, 16:00 pm, and 17:00 pm.

China Geological Museum
The museum is closed from New Year’s Eve to the second day of the Lunar New Year (January 24 to January 26), and from the third day of the Lunar New Year to Open on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year (January 27th to January 30th). The opening hours are 9:00-17:00, the ticket sales time is 9:00-16:00, and admission stops at 16:30.

China Overseas Chinese History Museum
