3. Anyone who travels to a third country via Finland and holds a connecting ticket and does not leave the airport and stays for no more than 24 hours is exempt from visa application. If the stay exceeds 24 hours, a transit visa is required.
4. Depending on the number of visits, Chinese citizens can apply for single-entry, double-entry and multiple-entry visas at the Finnish embassy and consulates in China. The single-entry and double-entry visas are valid for up to 6 months. , the maximum stay is 90 days, the multiple-entry visa is valid for up to 12 months, and the maximum stay is 90 days within 6 months.
5. Depending on the purpose of visit, Finland Schengen visas are divided into business visas, visiting relatives and friends visas, ADS tour group visas and long-term residence permits. Except for ADS tour group visa applications, which are submitted by tour groups certified by ADS, other visa applications must be submitted in person at the Finnish embassy or consulate in China in their jurisdiction. Visas on arrival are not available at the Finnish port of entry.
6. All materials must be in English or Finnish, and Chinese materials must be accompanied by English translations.
7. Applications for long-term residence are decided by the Finnish Immigration Service.
8. The Finnish Immigration Service can issue a residence permit card to long-term residence permit applicants. This card is issued by the Finnish Immigration Service to the Finnish Embassy in China. Applicants must wait for notification from the embassy and do not need to check the result.
9. The Finnish Immigration Service has launched an online application service for student residence permit applications. Applicants who apply online must also make an appointment with the embassy by phone for an interview.
10. The extension of residence permit must be processed at the local police station in Finland.
11. Finland and Hungary have reached an agreement. The Hungarian Consulate General in Chongqing can handle Schengen visas for Chongqing consular districts to Finland.

13. If the visa is refused, the visa fee will not be refunded, but you can appeal.
