Departing from Harbin in early July, Suzhou-Wuzhen-Xitang-Zhouzhuang-Hangzhou route and accommodation, it is best to take a bus route

The route designed by the author is wrong! Zhouzhuang and Tongli are both under the jurisdiction of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. How is it possible to first go to Wuzhen and Xitang, which are also under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, and then return to Suzhou and then go to Hangzhou? The correct itinerary should be Harbin-Suzhou-Zhouzhuang/Tongli-Wujiang-Luxu-Taozhuang-Xitang-Jiaxing-Wuzhen-Jiaxing-Hangzhou-Harbin.

There is only one direct train from Harbin to Suzhou, K58/55 (Harbin-Shanghai). It departs from Harbin at 9:32 and arrives in Suzhou at 16:13 the next day. The sleeper berth costs 480 yuan.

During the 2010 World Expo trip, I had a lot of fun in Hangzhou and Suzhou for several days! Visited all the major attractions in both places! Search "Famous Jianghu's Blog" online (either Sina or those who traveled together) to see the detailed travel notes of that time! Suzhou and Hangzhou each have their own characteristics! 5-7 days is just right! There are 7-8 places worth seeing in Suzhou gardens, including Humble Administrator’s Garden, Lingering Garden, Lion Grove, Canglang Pavilion, Master of Nets Garden, Yiyuan Garden, Lotus Root Garden, Xiyuan Temple, Hanshan Temple, Tiger Hill, North Temple Pagoda, and Shantang. Street, South China Tiger Breeding Center, Guanqian Street, and the four ancient water towns of Tongli, Zhouzhuang, Mudu, and Luzhi. At least three days in the city, 3-4 days in the ancient water town, Luzhi and Mudu can be visited in one day if everything goes well. Hangzhou has classic ten sceneries, new ten sceneries, new and new ten sceneries, in addition to Qiandao Lake and Songcheng!

Hangzhou West Lake is free. It makes sense that Hangzhou has been rated as the most livable city in China for the past ten years. It is the most vivid place that combines natural mountains and rivers with cultural landscapes! Therefore, it is most suitable for romantic and snowy nights, sensuality, revelry, singing and dancing, and all the heroes will stop making progress and lie drunk in the gentle countryside when they arrive there! That's why in the Southern Song Dynasty, "When will the singing and dancing in West Lake stop? The warm wind will make tourists drunk." In the end, the country was ruined and the family was destroyed!

Hangzhou has the classic ten sceneries, the new ten sceneries, and the new ten sceneries. It takes at least 3 days! One day each for Xitang, Nanxun and Wuzhen!

The advantage of Xitang compared to Nanxun and Wuzhen is that tickets are not checked on non-weekends and you can enter at will. Of course, you still need tickets to visit scenic spots! The free admission has resulted in a large number of young couples in Xitang. In comparison, Wuzhen is the darkest! Nanxun is a combination of Chinese and Western styles, elegant and luxurious, Xitang is a Xiaojiabiyu type, Mudu is a garden and water town, Tongli is similar to Zhouzhuang, Tongli is more cost-effective, and Luzhi is simple and flawless. The 2010 World Expo tour visited Suzhou and Hangzhou and almost all the major ancient water towns in Jiangnan. Xitang’s accommodation and tickets are also detailed in my blog travel notes! And the store where we stayed at that time also provided us with almost half-price tickets. Quite affordable!

Many travel notes describe how to get from Zhouzhuang/Tongli to Xitang, which is a costly and time-consuming route. It details the simplest, fastest and most economical route and method from Zhouzhuang/Tongli in Suzhou to Xitang in Zhejiang. It’s Sina’s, so you can travel together!

Xitang is located in the boundary of Jiashan County under Jiaxing City! Take the shuttle bus from Xitang to Jiashan, which takes less than half an hour to Jiashan County, and then transfer to the shuttle bus to Jiaxing City, which takes about 40 minutes.

Xitang is not the only famous ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River! Just because Xitang does not check tickets on non-weekends (but tickets are required to enter the attractions), so there are especially many young couples going! After returning to Jiaxing City, you can also take a bus to another ancient water town - Wuzhen, Mao Dun's hometown, but Wuzhen is indeed very dark and the prices are killer! Prepare more money! From Wuzhen, you can also take a bus to Nanxun, Dazhaimen, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, and experience another elegant and luxurious style that combines Chinese and Western styles!

Wuzhen and Xitang are both under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing City, while Nanxun is under the jurisdiction of Huzhou City. First go to Xitang, then return to Jiaxing City, and then go from Jiaxing City to Wuzhen. After returning to Jiaxing City from Wuzhen City, take a train (there are many trains) to Hangzhou, the provincial capital. You can also visit the famous Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing and taste Wufangzhai Zongzi.

The reason why I finally returned to Harbin from Hangzhou was determined by my travel experience! As the provincial capital and a popular tourist city, Hangzhou must have departure trains to Harbin, which makes it easier to buy sleepers. There are not only high-speed trains but also express trains. Tourists can choose the most cost-effective train according to their own situation and time schedule!
