Write a composition about the Xilinhot Prairie using one step to change the scene.

It’s summer vacation. My mother and I have been planning for a long time and decided to travel to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia.

Finally the day for the trip has arrived. On this day, my mother and I took a taxi to the airport and flew for two and a half hours before we arrived in Hohhot. After getting off the plane, we got on the bus again. Along the way, everything outside the car windows was dusty, and pedestrians were all wearing anti-sand masks. The city has few trees, with more greenery only in the city center. I asked my mother where the grassland was. An uncle from the tour group smiled and said: "This is just the periphery of the prairie. Tomorrow we can see the real prairie."

The next day, the tour guide arranged Visit the Jokhang Temple. She is so solemn and gives people a sacred feeling. Everyone happily took photos next to the colorful flags in front of the temple. After saying goodbye to the Jokhang Temple, we got on the bus and drove quickly to the prairie.

My mother and I stood in front of the car window and looked out together. I only saw a few white clouds floating in the clear blue sky. Whether it is blue sky or white clouds, they all look particularly bright and clean. The vast grassland outside the car is dotted with colorful wild flowers and some white yurts. There are groups of chickens foraging nearby, and cows grazing leisurely in the distance. What a prairie scenery, picturesque!

After getting off the bus, the hospitable host dressed in national costumes and held a khata in his hand toasted us enthusiastically. Then they welcomed us into the yurt, invited us to drink tea and rest. In the evening, we held a bonfire party with our hosts. Everyone held hands and circled around the blazing bonfire, singing and dancing. I was deeply immersed in joy.

On the third day, we got up early in the morning and went horse riding. The horses here are very docile. I rode a bay horse and it walked slowly without bullying the children at all. After everyone finished taking photos, the accompanying stable herd sent a signal to the horses, and the horses began to run slowly. I was riding on horseback and it felt so great! The only drawback is that the butt hurts so much.

On the fourth day, we went to Xiang Desert. In my eyes, this desert is a huge playground. I ran barefoot on the sand, and then my mother played go-karts and desert cable cars to her heart's content. Finally, I and the children rushed to the highest point of the sand dune - the white pavilion. The most unforgettable thing here is the camel ride. The tall two-humped camel lay on the sand, waiting for me to ride on it, and then slowly stood up. It took me forward steadily in the sand, as smoothly as riding a boat. No wonder people call camels the ships of the desert.

In the last two days, we visited the Hohhot Museum and learned some historical knowledge and customs of Inner Mongolia.

I like Inner Mongolia sand, Inner Mongolia grass, Inner Mongolia beef jerky and mutton chops.

I really hope that I can go to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia again next summer!
