Mode of transportation:

(1) Self-driving: From Shigatse to Yadong, the whole journey is 302 kilometers, which takes 7.5 hours. The route is Shigatse → Shandong Road → Everest Road → Zhade Middle Road →204 Provincial Road/Shanghai South Road →204 Provincial Road → Yadong.

(2) By bus: There is no shuttle bus from Lhasa to Yadong. You need to take a bus from Lhasa to Shigatse first, and then take a bus from Shigatse to Yadong. The whole fare is about 100 yuan. The shuttle bus from Shigatse to Yadong runs three or four times a day, starting at 9 am at the earliest and 2 pm at the latest. The whole journey takes nearly six hours and the fare is more than 50 yuan.

Note: To go to Yadong, you need to apply for a border pass in advance, which can be handled free of charge at the police station where your household registration is located; Or there is a charge in Lhasa, 50 yuan per person.
