Xitang Ancient Town
The streets along the river in the ancient town are all covered with awnings, with a total length of nearly a kilometer. Come here to play, on rainy days It doesn't rain, and the sun doesn't shine on sunny days. There are many well-preserved buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the ancient town, such as Zhongfu Hall, Zunwen Hall, Xue Zhai, etc. These buildings are ancient and simple. In the evening, the setting sun shines slantingly, the fishing boats sing late, the lights shine, and the aroma of wine overflows. The entire ancient water town looks like a poem and a painting.

Wuzhen is located in the northwest corner of Tongxiang City, Jiaxing. It is an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of 1,300 years. The cross-shaped inland river system divides the town into "East Gate, South Gate, West Gate and North Gate". It has the typical characteristics of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River and is known as the "Land of Fish and Rice, the House of Silk". In addition, Wuzhen has completely preserved the style and layout of the ancient water town during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Yuehe Ancient Street
The Yuehe River is a tributary of the canal. It is named because "its water curves and embraces the city like the moon." Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, a bustling market has formed in the Yuehe area. The small rivers, ancient bridges, narrow alleys, old houses, and sheds here show the strong style of the ancient water town. The bustling yet simple commercial street, the ancient bridge over the river, and the hustle and bustle of hawking, seem to reappear the lively scene of the old days. At night, I saw the red lanterns hanging on the ancient houses by the river lit up. It felt so beautiful in the dark night. Yuehe Ancient Street is open and does not charge entrance fees. There is also a flower and bird market where you can go shopping.
