Since China and Pakistan announced the establishment of diplomatic relations in June last year, the two sides have made great progress in cooperation and exchanges in the fields of politics, economy, trade and humanities. In April this year, China International Airlines opened a direct flight from Beijing to Panama City, which facilitated personnel exchanges between the two countries.

On September 27th, Panama Tourism Bureau announced the opening of official accounts on China's WeChat and Weibo platforms to promote Panama tourism projects to China tourists, so as to attract more China tourists to visit.

At the press conference held in Panama Canal Museum, Gustavo Qian, director of Panama Tourism Bureau, said that China is one of the most important tourist source countries in the world. The official account was launched this time to facilitate China users to know the latest information about Panama tourism and its main tourism products, including natural scenery, indigenous Indian tribes, historical and cultural sites, Panamanian traditions and so on.

Sandra Zheng, head of marketing in China, said that the official account is updated every Friday, and the first issue mainly focuses on natural scenery, sunny beaches, jungle exploration and shopping in the capital and surrounding areas.

In addition, Anhui Tourism Network and China Tourism Administration have also opened Chinese homepages to facilitate users to browse and understand Panama tourism.
