3. Characteristic Landscape
Xiaolinhai
is located in Huangbai Mountain Scenic Spot, adjacent to Fayan Temple and the junction of Hubei, Henan and Anhui provinces, covering an area of more than 2 hectares. The forest age is nearly 2 years, with an average tree height of more than 22 meters, an average DBH of 42 cm and a maximum DBH of 136 cm. The air in the forest is humid, the plants are lush, the tall Pinus taiwanensis is towering over the clouds, and precious medicinal materials such as Gastrodia elata and Poria cocos are growing under the forest. There stands a Millennium Gu Song at the entrance, with vigorous branches and leaves, like a giant hand welcoming guests. The virgin forest in Jiu Feng Peak
It is located in Longmenkou, Jiu Feng Peak Scenic Area, covering an area of more than 6 mu. The main tree species are Pinus taiwanensis and Quercus. The forest age is 23 years, and the number of trees per hectare is 36, with an average tree height of 2 meters and an average DBH of 45 cm. Because it is inaccessible and well-preserved, vines are entangled in the forest, and ancient trees are towering, and the thickness of litter is more than 7 cm, which has a tropical rainforest scene. Phyllostachys pubescens forest in Huang Baishan
Shangcheng County is the northernmost boundary of the suitable area of Phyllostachys pubescens in China. There are more than 1 Phyllostachys pubescens forests in the park, with a total area of 1,5 mu, especially the two bamboo forests in Huangbai Mountain and Great Niu Shan Scenic Area, with contiguous areas of 35 mu and 4 mu respectively. Bamboo forests are either accompanied by streams and reservoirs, or connected with paddy fields and ponds. Metasequoia glyptostroboides plantation

Artificial Forest

xiaohuangshan
is located in the northwest of Niu Shan scenic spot, covering an area of more than 6 mu.
