The ancients had many names for tourism, such as "traveling" for business travelers, "levying" for soldiers, "returning" for married travelers, "emperor traveling" and "migration".

The word "tourism" first appeared in the Six Dynasties. Traveling is going out, sightseeing is sightseeing. Together, the two are tourism, mainly sightseeing and amusement.
