What is your weirdest (or scary) experience while traveling (or staying in a hotel)?

Once I traveled to South America and planned to visit an ancient Inca civilization site called Machu Picchu. During my visit, the tour guide told us that this place has many mysterious legends and myths. It is said to be the land of the gods and the center of the Inca Empire.

When I stood on this beautiful site, I suddenly felt a strange atmosphere. I felt the air around me become heavier, as if something was watching me. I started to feel uneasy and wanted to get out of this place as quickly as possible.

At this moment, I saw an old man wearing Inca clothing. His eyes looked extremely mysterious, as if they had the power of some kind of spell. He came over to me, reached out and grabbed my hand, and said some incomprehensible words. I felt a chill, and the old man suddenly disappeared.

After I returned to the hotel, I couldn’t shake this ominous feeling. I started searching for information about Machu Picchu and found some legends describing ghosts walking around, healing of divine diseases, etc. In the end, I came to the conclusion that in this place, the mysterious ancient civilization still survives, we just see less of it. However, I will continue to explore this mysterious world, hoping that there are more surprises waiting for me.
