What special products should I buy to go to Tibet?

Tibet's specialty products are better, some are local products in Tibet, some are border specialties sold abroad, and so on.

At present, the main specialties are: Cordyceps sinensis, saffron, Fritillaria, green radish, Tibetan carpet, Lasi knife, Tricholoma matsutake and yak meat.

Here's just to introduce these kinds:

1. Cordyceps sinensis: It is mainly produced in Naqu, Tibet and Shannan, and the best is Ruxian in Naqu and Longzi County in Shannan.

2. Saffron: In fact, it is not produced in Tibet's own plateau. Because it came to Tibet from Iran and Pakistan, people are used to it, so it is called saffron, which is actually a specialty of entry. However, in recent years, Tibetan Shannan and Lhasa have cultivated plateau safflower, and the efficacy has not been confirmed for the time being whether it is as effective as Iranian saffron.

3. Fritillaria: There are quite a few people buying this one, and there are also green radish flowers.

4. Lashi Dao: This is a pipe product, so you can't get on the plane. You can only mail it at the local post office in Tibet. Lashi Dao is very sharp.

5. Tricholoma matsutake: The Tricholoma matsutake in Linzhi is delicious and tender, mainly in Medog and other places. The good Tricholoma matsutake is exported to Japan, South Korea and other places.

6. Yak: Needless to say, there are a lot of plateau yak meat in Tibet. The meat quality is rough, but it is very competitive, and the taste is heavier than that of yellow cattle.
