1. Mao Dun's former residence
Mao Dun's former residence is where Mao Dun was born and lived. The whole former residence faces South Street, which is a common residential building in the south of the Yangtze River, with brick and wood structure. Everything here reflects his childhood and records the time of his creation. When reading it, you can feel the spirit of Jing Ya infiltrated by scholarly family and the humanistic atmosphere endowed by the water town.
2. Shadow Theater
It is said that only the Shadow Play Museum in Wuzhen is still performing shadow play. This folk art has a history of thousands of years in China. In the theater, the lights are on, and the bamboo sticks in the hands of old folk artists have magically become legends that have been passed down through the ages. The lyrics of Wu Nong's soft language make the story more touching.
3. Repair the concept of truth
Since ancient times, the concept of repairing truth has been called "the three Taoist temples in the south of the Yangtze River" together with Suzhou Xuanmiao Temple and Puyuan Xiangyun Temple, and its status is extremely lofty. Today's concept of repairing the truth is the face after being rebuilt again, and the pattern is still following history and has not been changed.
4. Sanjiu Wine Shop
What is Sanjiu liquor? "Qing Wu Town Records" said: "It is made of white rice, white flour and white water, so it has its name". According to legend, the wine-making industry in Wuzhen was very developed in the old days, and now only Gaogongsheng Distillery, formerly known as Gaogongsheng Sauce Garden, was built in the early Ming Dynasty. "Sanjiu" is famous for its rich aroma, mellow taste, soft taste, refreshing aftertaste and endless aftertaste. When you come to Wuzhen, you may wish to come to several bowls of Sanjiu liquor and taste the mellow and sweet taste of the water town.
5. Fengyuan Shuangqiao
Fengyuan Shuangqiao, located in Dongzha Scenic Area, is an ancient bridge with unique flavor. Because there is a veranda on it, it is also called a covered bridge. There is a water fence under the bridge, which is an ancient waterway entry-exit checkpoint. Legend has it that there is a custom that men are left behind and women are right. When you walk on the bridge at a time, you should walk on the left and right sides, so that you can take care of both sides when you leave the bridge. Standing on Fengyuan Shuangqiao is an excellent view of Caishen Bay, one of the beautiful scenery in Wuzhen. At first glance, the weeping willows on the south bank of Dongshi River and the Qushui Pavilion on the north bank are refreshing.
6. Huiyuan Pawnshop
Changfeng Street in Wuzhen, Zhong Shi is a traditional shopping street. There is a pawnshop called Huiyuan Dang, which is between Yingjia Bridge and Nanhua Bridge, with five facades, upstairs and downstairs, and a high counter (1.8 meters high). It is really imposing. Today's pawnshop has become a microcosm of the old China financial industry, leaving too much sadness and dignity behind two mottled iron gates.
