There is only the Beijing embassy in the country. For visas, you need to prepare all application materials yourself and go to the embassy to submit the visa or ask other institutions or individuals to deliver it on your behalf. Because we had limited time, we handed it over to Xingxingyun, which saved us the trouble of finding someone to go to the Beijing consulate to hand over the documents. In addition, we didn’t need to prepare the invitation letter and the inviter’s information ourselves. The agency fee is generally 1100-1400RMB/person, and if you submit the application yourself, it will cost 650RMB/person. It takes about 10-15 working days to complete.

Both countries have electronic visas. Apply for a visa on the Immigration Bureau website in advance, and you will receive a PDF file after approval. , print it out, and pay the fee to have it stamped when entering the country. The information required for a visa is relatively simple.

Zambia requires: passport homepage photo, cover letter (probably stating who I am, what my passport number is, when I plan to come to Zambia, and what I am doing, I hope it will be approved. Then sign and date it, and then take photos and upload them), hotel orders, air ticket orders, and electronic 2-inch photos.

Zimbabwe requirements: passport first page, 2-inch photo, hotel order, ID card.

In actual testing, Zambia’s approval speed is very fast, and the visa was received within a few hours. It's hard to describe Zimbabwe... Two people applied at the same time with the same account. Mine was approved within a week, but Mr. Wang's was waited for three weeks with no news. I called the Immigration Bureau to urge the application, promising that it would be processed quickly, but the result was still there a week later. No news, so I called again and finally got it done.
