Taiyuan City Library opening hours

The library is open from 9:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday, and admission is closed at 16:45. The library is closed on Mondays (except for national statutory holidays, and extended services are suspended in the fourth-floor self-study room). Readers' restaurant opening hours: Lunch: 11:30-14:00 (breakfast and dinner services are not available for the time being). The underground parking lot is open from 7:30 to 22:00.

Entry method

1. The number of reservations is 3,000 per day, and dynamic management is implemented. The number of people in the museum at the same time does not exceed 2,000.

2. Readers must show their reservation code, have their temperature taken, wear a mask, and keep a one-meter line when entering the library.

1. Continue to implement total volume control and dynamic management. When the reservation limit is reached, further reservations will be stopped. When the limit of the number of people in the library at the same time is reached, admission will be suspended immediately. You can continue to enter the museum only if there are vacancies.

2. Readers are required to wear masks, maintain a safe distance, not get together, and do not move their reading seats at will during the entire period in the library.

3. The readers’ restaurant implements crowd control, staggers dining times, maintains a safe distance of one meter, does not gather, and obeys staff flow control and management. It is strictly prohibited to bring your own food or order takeout to eat in the restaurant.

4. It is advocated for parents to borrow and return books and periodicals for minors, and for family members to borrow and return books and periodicals for the elderly.

5. Because the number of reservations for entering the library is full, for readers who need to borrow or return books, there are 3 service points*** outside the Taiyuan City Library:

The northwest corner is open 24 hours a day Self-service library.

There is a self-service book return point in the parking lot on the first floor (7:30-22:00).

Taitu Self-service Library in the Sunken Square on the south side (7:00-23:00).

Readers can reasonably choose service points to handle business based on the actual situation.
