We just went there in early April and followed Ctrip’s semi-self-guided tour. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel. The prices of hotels vary depending on the star rating, so you can choose your own. There are many hotels around Jiuzhaigou.

One day for Huanglong and one day for Jiuzhaigou. The ticket price for Jiuzhaigou is 220 + 90 for sightseeing tickets (unlimited rides within one day). The ticket can only be used for one day. Generally, Jiuzhaigou can be seen in one day. Tickets are issued at the entrance and you can go in by yourself. There is no freedom. The car will be waiting at the door in the afternoon.

The airport is between Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. It takes about 1 hour to get to Huanglong and about 2 hours to Jiuzhaigou. There are taxis, but there seems to be no public transportation.

Pearl Beach

Under the sunlight, the water droplets look like pearls falling, hence the name Pearl Beach. There is a trestle across the Pearl Beach. The beach on the south side of the trestle is covered with bushes. After the torrent passes under the bridge, it stirs up strings of pearls rolling and jumping in the shallows on the north side. The rapid torrent travels 200 meters along this sloping beach with a width of about 160 meters, and then reaches the end of the cliff of the sloping beach, where endless torrents rush out of the cliff.

Swan Sea

Swan Sea, 2905 meters above sea level, is a semi-swamp lake in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Sichuan Province. On the vast lake, there are green grass, brilliant mountain flowers, and a clear stream winding through it. From time to time, swans rise and fall, and wild ducks swim in groups. It is quite special among the seas of Jiuzhaigou. It is connected to the lower reaches of Fangcao Sea. Most of the vast lake surface has been silted into shoals and is a semi-swamp lake.

Baojing Rock

Baojing Rock is a huge stone cliff in Zharugou. It stands tall and has a flat surface. From a distance, it looks like a big screen. This is Baojing Cliff, also known as Devil's Cliff. Panda Sea

Mirror Sea

Leaving Pearl Beach and going down the mountain ring road, there is an extremely wide valley. The valley is empty and overgrown with vegetation. A stream of clear spring meanders through the middle, filling up to the mirror sea downstream. There are several houses beside the river, like a paradise. There are majestic and tall peaks on both sides of the valley. When autumn comes, the forest is stained with autumn colors, as if there is a sacred paintbrush, smearing crimson, peach red, dark purple, dark green, turquoise, and goose yellow on the mountains wantonly. The Mirror Sea is located immediately downstream of the empty valley. The lake is narrow and elongated, about one kilometer long, and is surrounded by trees. Shanbi on the other side looks like a huge stone screen. On the right side is the lower reaches of the Mirror Sea. It is adjacent to the Nuorilang Group of Seas; on the left is the upper reaches of the Jinghai Sea, connecting with the Jinghai Valley. The reflection of the sea of ??mirrors dominates Jiuzhaigou. It is like a mirror, replicating the scenery above the water without any distortion.

Shuzheng Qunhai

Jiuzhaigou Shuzheng Qunhai is composed of twenty to thirty large and small seas clustered in a terraced shape, stretching for several miles in front and back, with a height difference of nearly 100 meters. Green trees such as cypress, pine, and fir are densely scattered around the lake. The lake water passes over the embankment from the upper reaches, flows through the trees, falls to the sea surface on the next level to form a waterfall, stirs up silver waves, and goes straight downstream noisily. The series of cascading waterfalls and rapids connect various lakes in the Shuzheng Sea, separated by movement and stillness. The sea is not only distinct in levels, but also in color. The green trees are verdant, the blue sea is dense, and the waterfalls and water splashes are white and light. Especially the color of green within blue is the most moving.

Rhinoceros Sea

Leaving Shuzheng Village and going up, you will see a sea about 2 kilometers long, 18 meters deep, and 2,400 meters above sea level. This is the largest Haizi Rhinoceros Sea in Shuzhenggou. There is a trestle at the southern end of Rhinoceros Sea leading to the other side. Rhinoceros Sea is one of the seas with the most varied scenery in Jiuzhaigou Valley, and its reflection is almost the highest among all seas.
