Wutai mountain 1

Wutai Mountain, located in the northeast corner of Wutai County, Xinzhou District, is one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. It is as famous as Mount Emei in Sichuan, Mount Putuo in Zhejiang and Mount Jiuhua in Anhui, and is desired by people at home and abroad. Wutai Mountain is located on the roof of North China, with the highest elevation of 3058 meters. The mountains here are continuous and staggered, just like a tiger living in a dragon pan, with a total area of 2837 square kilometers.

3. Yungang grottoes

Yungang Grottoes are located at the foot of Wuzhou Mountain, which is 0/6 km west of Datong City, on the north bank of Wuzhou River. Grottoes are dug along the mountain, stretching for one kilometer from east to west. There are 45 main caves, with more than 1 100 niches and more than 5 1000 statues. It is one of the largest caves in China and a world-famous art treasure house.

4. Yanmenguan

Yanmenguan, also known as Xiguan, is located in Yanmen Mountain, about 20 kilometers north of Daixian County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. It is an important pass on the Great Wall, and it is called "Outer Three Passes" together with Ning Wuguan and Pianguan.

5. Pingyao Ancient City

Pingyao ancient city, located in Shanxi, is a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2,700 years. It is one of the four best-preserved ancient cities in China, and the only ancient county in China that successfully declared the world cultural heritage with the whole ancient city.

6. Hongtong pagoda tree root-seeking ancestral temple scenic spot

The ancient pagoda tree, also known as Hong Tong pagoda tree, is located in the pagoda tree park on the west side of Jia Cun, two kilometers northwest of Hongtong County. Although there are no magnificent buildings in Hongdong, there are endless tourists in both cold winter and hot summer. Some of them wrote poems to express their feelings of "thinking about drinking water and thinking about the source", while others looked up at the ancient pagoda and lingered for a long time, refusing to leave.
