Wuzhen, located in Tongxiang City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is one of the first historical and cultural towns in China and a national 5A-level tourist area. There are famous tourist attractions, such as Tashi, Mao Dun's former residence and Mu Xin Art Museum. It is a typical ancient town in Jiangnan, China.

Wuzhen is known as "the last pillow water town in China", "the land of plenty and the land of silk". Wuzhen, located in the southeast coast, has a typical subtropical monsoon climate. Warm and humid, abundant rain and sunshine, long spring and short autumn, hot winter in Leng Xia, warm spring and cool autumn, four distinct seasons.

1. Dongzha Scenic Area

Dongzha Scenic Area is located to the east of Nanbeicheng River. There are six bridges on the river, and the ancient wooden houses on the north bank are connected together to form the East Gate. The landscape of Dongzhashui Town is complete and primitive. Handmade workshops and traditional shops have their own characteristics.

The tour route of Dongzha is mainly through an old street. The main attractions are: Huiyuan Pawnshop, Hanlindi, Xiuzhen Temple, Ancient Stage, Mao Dun's Former Residence, Yuliuliang Coin Museum, Woodcarving Museum, Blue Printed Fabric Dyeing Workshop, Wuzhen Folk Museum, Jiangnan Hundred Bed Museum, Sanjiu Brewery, Boxing Boat Show, Fengyuan Shuangqiao and so on.

There are also some people who live in Dongzha, mostly old people, and there are fireworks everywhere. The original local life customs have been preserved, and the humanistic feelings are vividly displayed here.

2. Zhaxi Scenic Area

Zhaxi is located in Wuzhen West Street, adjacent to the ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It consists of twelve islands and is surrounded by clear water. Dozens of small bridges connect these islands in series, and the waterways are winding and criss-crossing, which perfectly presents the style of the ancient water town in the south of China.

The main body of Tashi is Tashi Old Street, which runs across the east and west of the scenic spot and is 1.8km long. The main attractions are: Grand Theatre, Natural Plant Dyeing Workshop, Celebration Hall, Zhaoming Academy, Wuzhen Post Office, Stage, An Baili Pagoda, Mu Xin Art Museum, etc.

The West Gate at night exudes unique charm. Whenever night falls, the calm river reflects the lights of the buildings along the river, as dazzling and beautiful as the scenery in the painting. Walking on the ancient bridge of the water market, you can still feel the ancient prosperity and excitement here.
