Tangseng Temple

Tangseng Temple is located in Tangseng Temple Village, Zhangqiang Town. It is said that it was built during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. It was originally a Mongolian temple, which was expanded in the middle of Qing Dynasty and rebuilt as a Mongolian temple. There are more than 200 temples, which are divided into five parts: the Temple, the East-West Buddhist Temple, the East Warehouse and the West Warehouse. The temple is the largest temple in the county, with large scale and exquisite carving. There is a big pot in the temple, which can cook porridge for two cows with three stones and two buckets of rice, and it can be eaten by 1000 people a day. There were more than 200 people at the peak. In the old days, the 15th and 25th of the first month were temple fairs, which were demolished at 1950.
