How much is the ticket for Xingcheng Ancient City?

Xingcheng Ancient City is an exquisite seaside city with unique temperament. Here, you can feel the rich ancient culture temperament and unique charm of Liaodong. Although it is a coastal city, it has a simple and heavy feeling. This is a guide specially prepared for you.

Of course, many people's first impression of Xingcheng is a seaside city, which should be a place to see the sea. But as a tourist, Xingcheng is also rich in cultural relics. Here, wheat shares some historical sites seen in the ancient city. Let's make a card together.

Adult fare: 70 yuan/person.

An ancient city package, priced at 100 yuan, including the ancient city wall, the Confucian Temple, the Governor's Office, the Zhouzhai, the Bell and Drum Tower, etc. It can be said that tickets are not cheap, but in my opinion, from a humanistic point of view, then this 100 yuan is actually not expensive.

Xingcheng Ancient City is one of the four most complete ancient cities in Ming Dynasty in China and the only square acropolis in China. Although after more than 500 years of history, years and wars, the outer city of Xingcheng no longer exists, but fortunately, the inner city still retains its original appearance after many repairs.

If you want to feel the grandeur of Xingcheng ancient city, you must climb any gate in the east, west, north and south of the ancient city. You can choose to walk from the north gate, and then walk south along the gate, passing through the east gate and the south gate.

Overlooking the whole ancient city from the top of the city wall, although its buildings are not too old, most of them are from the last century except those listed as national key cultural protection units. However, compared with many antique buildings restored for tourism in Shanhaiguan, Xingcheng looks much more primitive.

When you pass the city gate, you will find a semi-circular urn outside the city gate, which was mainly used for defense. In the southeast corner of the city, there is a Kuixing Tower. In my opinion, ancient times were mainly used to watch the wind.

Choose Yan Hui Gate at the south gate and walk along the street. You can also see two extremely simple archways, which are listed as national key cultural protection units.

They were the "Brave Martial Arts Square" and "Brave Martial Arts Square" built in the fourth year of Chongzhen and the eleventh year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty. Because they are only 100 meters apart, when you walk in the street, you can see two magnificent archways at a glance.

In addition to their grandeur, these two archways also have an extremely important position. It was built by Zhu Youjian, the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, to commemorate the ancestors of the generals who guarded the important towns in western Liaoning. It is very rare to build memorial archways for two brothers.

In fact, the construction technology of the archway itself is very interesting. The memorial archway is carved from rock. It is a wood-like building with four columns, three rooms and five floors. Details can be seen in Shuanglong, horseback riding expedition, attendants, various animals and patterns. I watched this exquisite design for almost half an hour.

After two archways, we entered the intersection of East, West, South and North streets, which is the center of the ancient defense city. There is an iconic ancient building, the Bell and Drum Tower, which can lead to four gates in the southeast and northwest. So the whole looks very grand and majestic.

The whole drum tower doesn't look too old, but it looks a bit like an antique building, but when you climb the tower, you can see four gates at a glance. The snack street in the north building, the ancient archway in the south gate, the smell of fireworks in the east gate and the coldness in the west gate can be described as showing different situations.

Walking down the bell and drum tower and along the west gate, you can see one of the most expensive scenic spots in the ancient city-Jilin-Liaoning municipal government. Although the tickets are expensive, in my opinion, there are not many ancient buildings left here. This is a scenic spot built for tourism development.

Fortunately, the Confucian Temple, not far from Jilin Liao Governor's Office, is full of surprises. This is the oldest Confucius Temple in Northeast China, which was founded in 1430. Whether it is the plaque of the Eight Emperors of Qing Dynasty hanging in Dacheng Hall or the forest of steles in past dynasties after Dacheng Hall, it is one of the greatest buildings in China history.

In fact, in my opinion, the most exquisite thing about Xingcheng ancient city is not the scenic spots that are charged, but that the ancient city still has this original ecological flavor for hundreds of years. Until now, when you walk here, you will still be moved by the smell of fireworks.
