Geographically, which country borders Portugal?

Hello, geographically, Portugal borders on neighboring Spain.

Portugal is located at the southwest end of the European continent, bordering Spain, the only neighboring country in the east and north, and the Atlantic Ocean in the west. Therefore, many people have been going to the west coast of Portugal to enjoy the spectacular scenery near the Atlantic Ocean. In the Mediterranean, Portugal is a marginal country, but in the Atlantic, Portugal is a frontline country. This unique geographical location greatly facilitated Portugal to play an important role in the era of great navigation, but because of this, Portugal is also the country with the largest number of tropical cyclones in Europe (the annual probability of tropical cyclones in the world is still low, mainly concentrated in the Azov Islands).

There are many fishing villages and resorts in mountainous northern Portugal, central coastal areas and southern hilly areas.

In addition, Portugal has two islands in the Atlantic Ocean, located off the Atlantic Ocean, namely Azov Islands and Madeira Islands.

Portugal has a temperate maritime climate in the north and a Mediterranean climate in the south, with an annual precipitation of 800 ~1000 mm.

In the small map below, the pink part is Portugal, and on one side (obviously on the right hand side, east and north) is Spain bordering it.
