Travel to Huangshi, route

Huangshi students are here:

After staying in Huangshi for 3 years, from the perspective of an outsider, Xiaolei Mountain, Dongfang Mountain, Tuancheng Mountain Park (Cihu), and Mount Xisai is not bad.

Xiaolei Mountain is in Daye. If you are starting from Huangshi City, please consider the time and tolls spent on the road first.

I personally don’t recommend Dongfangshan, it’s not interesting. The journey up the mountain is as boring as the Golden Summit on Wudang Mountain. But if you just want to travel as a souvenir, then go for it.

Xiseishan Mountain is pretty good. You can take a bus directly from the city. Although the surrounding environment is not good, the scenery in the mountain is still very good. Along the Yangtze River, you can relax on the river beach.

Personally the most recommended route:

Day 1: Take the bus around Cihu and get off at Tuanchengshan Park. After exiting the park, walk in the direction of People’s Square OK - you can follow bus No. 13. There is another branch on the way to a church on the mountain. If you don’t want to go to the church, keep going. There is a bright red building on the roadside called Longhu Villa. There is Sanwuxuan Hotel in the courtyard. The food is very good, especially the rice in this restaurant is the best in Huangshi. However, except for a few restaurants in Huangshi, they all serve food during meals. From 11 am to 2 pm, you can dine after 4 pm. Then you can go to Cihu Villa (four-star hotel) and the nearby municipal government, People's Square, and Radio and Television Building. It is best to spend a day at Cihu. If you are lucky, there may be a fountain in the middle of the lake. Then take the bus back in the evening to see the night view of Cihu Lake. Cihu looks more beautiful at night.

The next day: Xisai Mountain (bring your own water and food, there is nothing sold in the mountain. Zhongbai Warehouse Supermarket in the city, Zhongshang Fair Price, and Rosa Bread are both good places to buy food) )

The third day: If you can bear it, take a one-day trip to Xiaolei Mountain. Be mentally prepared, it's harder to climb than Mount Xisai.

Day 4: Going to Dongfang Mountain? You can take a car to go up and down the mountain - a special car driven by a local costs RMB 15 per person (I can't remember clearly). And there is nothing in the mountains, so it’s time to relax. There is an iron swing in a secluded place in the mountains. See if you can find it. This swing is the happiest thing for a certain pear, haha.

Day Five: Daye Iron Mine or Xialu Dongbei Electrical Appliances, think of it as spiritual practice. If you don't want to go, just go shopping in the city. Xinbai Huaxia is a newly built shopping mall.
