Unlike some old people, Yi Jiufan of Changsha spent most of his retirement time traveling. From the age of 6, he began to slowly travel all over China and go abroad. In 27 years, he has been to 27 countries on five continents. Yi Jiufan said that he has always had a dream: to see the famous scenic spots in the motherland and the world.

Not only that, Yi Jiufan will spend time writing travel notes after each trip. He said that every time you write a travel note, it is equivalent to traveling again. Not only can you relive good memories, but you can also record a journey through words and become an eternal commemoration.

After retiring, I spent 27 years traveling around 27 countries.

When I walked into Yi Jiufan's home, I saw a photo wall covered with photos on three sides. These photos are proof of his footprints in the world. The photos on the wall are divided into several parts, with the words "Great America and Africa", "Wonderful Oceania", "Splendid Europe", "Most Beautiful Asia", "Five Northwest Provinces" and "Four Southwest Provinces" written on the top.

Yi Jiufan, born in 1935, is about to enter the 87th year of his life. At the age of 53, Yi Jiufan retired from the commune enterprise, re-employed himself, and opened a shop in Datuo with his wife, engaged in renting and selling books, videos and stone carving. Yi Jiufan said that before he retired, he always had a dream: to visit famous scenic spots in the motherland and around the world and meet some new things and people.

Due to his busy work before retirement, Yi Jiufan has never had time to realize his dream. In 1994, Yi Jiufan, who was about to turn 6, took the first step of traveling. This year, he went to Beijing with his wife, sister and a friend, visited the Forbidden City, climbed the Great Wall and visited Tiananmen Square. From then on, Yi Jiufan began to travel all over the motherland and then gradually went to the world.

Travel brings you special unforgettable memories

Although he is almost 9 years old, Yi Jiufan is still hale and hearty and articulate. Speaking of his own travel experience, he talked about Kan Kan: he has been to Russia, the largest country in the world, and to the Vatican, the smallest country in the world; When traveling to South Africa, I took the plane for 15 hours. Visited the 21 Shanghai World Expo alone; It takes 12 hours to walk 56 kilometers from the pier in Xiangtan to Shaoshan.

among many travel memories, a special trip to Vietnam in 213 impressed Yi Jiufan the most. It's special because among the four members of the team, there is a blind masseur Zhou Yunhui, a tourist whose legs and feet are semi-disabled due to a car accident Song Shaoyun, a lung cancer patient Guo Ren who has just recovered, and a tourist whose spleen has been removed, that is, Yi Jiufan.

In 197, Yi Jiufan, who was still the secretary of the brigade, accidentally fell from the sky while hanging a banner, and the amount of bleeding in his whole body reached 18cc. Finally, his spleen was removed, leaving him with seven-level disability.

Three of the four people live in Muyun Town, Changsha, and Guo Ren is everyone's acquaintance. Zhou Yunhui's eyesight is very poor, and he can only see a little light. Like Yi Jiufan, Zhou Yunhui likes to travel around, but because of his eyes, others are reluctant to take him with him when traveling.

As a fellow villager, Yi Jiufan chose to go with Zhou Yunhui. "Although he (Zhou Yunhui) has poor eyesight, he works steadily." So, in six days, four people saw the famous scenic spots in Vietnam. On the way, Zhou Yunhui was leaning on crutches, and Yi Jiufan always took care of him, worrying about whether Zhou Yunhui had touched anything or wrestled. After coming back from Vietnam, the relationship between several people has become closer.

I spend time writing travel notes after every trip.

Walking from the living room of Yi Jiufan's house, I come to another small room. This room has a low table for eating and a slightly higher table, on which Yi Jiufan writes travel notes.

"As long as I go to a place and a country, I will write travel notes, which is an essential part of my trip." Yi Jiufan said that a week-long journey usually takes him about a week to write his travel notes after he returns home. "The process of writing travel notes is also the process of recalling the whole journey. Write down all the good memories so that I can read them at any time and never forget them." Yi Jiufan said.

On the fifth day of his trip to South Africa, Yi Jiufan chose "Love to See the Atlantic Ocean" to summarize the itinerary of the day. This limerick wrote: The Atlantic Ocean is extraordinary, with blue sky and clear water. In the middle of the ocean, the back waves urge the front waves, and the surging white waves turn over. The pebbles on the shore are shining silver, and the ships on the water don't stop. Visitors come here to see the wonders, laughing and shooting.

Up to now, Yi Jiufan has 1 travel notes of Yu Ben, which are neatly hung on the wall. Recently, Yi Jiufan planned to visit the Antarctic Village in Guangdong, but this plan can only be put on hold for the time being because several partners who traveled together said that "my legs and feet hurt a little". But even so, Yi Jiufan is still looking forward to the next trip.
