What is the capital of Myanmar?
Naypyidaw (formerly known as Binmana Piinmana) has a population of about 800,000.
Naypyidaw was once a county-level city in central Myanmar. It is located 390 kilometers north of Yangon and about 300 kilometers away from Mandalay, the second largest city in northern Myanmar. It is located in a small basin in Sitang Valley in central Myanmar, surrounded by jungles and mountains. It is a place that is easy to defend but difficult to attack.
There are three universities of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry.
On June 6th, 2005, 165438+ Myanmar government departments began to move to Naypyidaw in batches. In March 2006, the Myanmar government named the new capital of the Union of Myanmar "Naypyidaw".
