Introduction to Shunshan Town

Shunshan Town is located 10 kilometers north of Lai'an County, Chuzhou City, Anhui Province, with a total area of ??145.8 square kilometers and a total population of 38,692 people. There are 23 Type II reservoirs, 1 state-owned forest farm and 1 state-owned tea farm in the territory. Agricultural industrialization has begun to take shape, with Linqiao Village as the leading flower and tree base and Paozui Village as the main hybrid rice seed production base. It is rich in mineral resources, with more than 30 million tons of proven feldspar reserves and hundreds of millions of tons of prospective reserves. It is one of the areas richest in potassium feldspar in Anhui Province. It is rich in tourism resources. In 2009, it was named "The Best Tourism Town in Anhui Province". The town has formed three major tourism sectors (Egret Island Ecological Leisure Resort, Linqiao Ecological Agriculture Sightseeing Area, and Sungeshan Buddhist Cultural Area). The Party Committee and Government of Shunshan Town have established the development strategy of "establishing an agricultural town, strengthening the town through industry, developing the town through tourism, and enriching the town through commerce", and strive to build Shunshan into a strong tourism town in Anhui Province and a tourist resort in Chuzhou City.
