The list of the third batch of national key rural tourist villages was announced, and 7 villages in Jiangsu were on the list, totaling 46.

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Development and Reform Commission announced the third batch of national key rural tourism villages, and seven villages including Danian Community in Yongning Street, Pukou District, Nanjing were listed. So far, 46 villages in Zhongjiang, Jiangsu Province, which are key rural tourism villages in China, have been selected, among which 36 villages cover rural villages with provincial characteristics, accounting for 78.3%.

It is reported that in 20 17, jiangsu provincial party committee and the provincial government innovatively implemented the action of building characteristic villages, taking it as an important starting point to implement the rural revitalization strategy, and built a large number of charming villages with both internal and external repairs around characteristic industries, ecological environment, distinctive features, rural governance, and work innovation, which promoted the flow of funds, talents, projects and other resources to the countryside, effectively promoted rural economic development and increased farmers' income, and reshaped rural charm.

In 20 19, "provincial leisure and sightseeing demonstration village (boutique village)" and "Jiangsu rural tourism key village (star-rated tourist homestay)" were included in the provincial characteristic village construction projects, and the practical connotation of characteristic villages was further enriched and deepened. After four years of continuous efforts, the province has built 407 provincial-level characteristic villages, covering 97.4% of agriculture-related counties (cities, districts). In some areas, the "point-to-point connection" was popularized, and the prototype of the characteristic rural demonstration area was initially formed, showing a vivid picture of rural villages and prosperous cities, beautiful scenery and integration of urban and rural areas, forming an influential "brand effect" throughout the country.
