I went to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag raising on National Day. I have a few questions to ask~

On October 1 this year, Tiananmen Square will be open to tourists at 1:30 in the morning. If the number of people in the area is saturated, peripheral roads will be closed.

You can’t see the national flag guard or military band at the monument. The crowd in the square is at a horizontal height. If you don’t squeeze to the front, you can’t clearly watch the ceremony. If you want to occupy a good place, The best way is to stay vigil and wait. I would like to remind everyone that if you want to wait vigil in the square, you must wear warm clothes. The temperature in Beijing in early autumn is only about 10 degrees Celsius at night.

Security check is required. All dangerous goods, including lighters, are not allowed to enter with bags. You need to deposit your bags in advance, and you can just carry your camera with you.

The number of people attending the National Day in Tiananmen Square every year is about 200,000, which varies slightly every year.

Don’t even think about the bench, you can’t bring it in. The best place to see is the man’s shoulder~ Haha

Tips for activities in the square:

At 10 o'clock on October 1, a flower basket laying ceremony will be held in Tiananmen Square to the Monument to the People's Heroes. To ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the ceremony, all vehicles and pedestrians will be prohibited from traveling around Tiananmen Square from 7:30 until the end of the event.

The flag raising and lowering time during October:

The flag raising time was 06:10 on October 1, 2011. After that, the flag raising time was postponed by 1 minute every day.

The flag-lowering time was 17:57 on October 1, 2011. After that, the flag-lowering time was moved forward by 1 minute every day.

Only on the 1st of every month, a large-scale flag-raising ceremony with live accompaniment of a military band will be held in Tiananmen Square.
