Brief introduction of scenic spots in Laolongtou scenic spot
Laolongtou is located 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao City. It is the eastern part of the Great Wall in Ming Dynasty and the only land and sea military defense system of the Great Wall in Wan Li, which integrates mountains, seas, customs and cities. To the east, it is connected with the nine gates of the Great Wall on the water, and enters Shicheng into the sea, just like a dragon head exploring the sea and making waves, hence the name "Old Dragon Head". Laolongtou is 4 kilometers away from Shanhaiguan.
In the Ming Dynasty, the Great Wall spanned mountains and sent a dragon into the Bohai Sea, so it was called the "old dragon head". The old faucet consists of Shicheng, Jinglutai, Nanhai Kouguan and Chenghailou. The terrain of the old dragon head is high and steep, and there is a "Shicheng into the sea" built by Qi Jiguang, the main commander of Jiyun Town in the Ming Dynasty. The most famous building is Chenghai Tower, which is known as "The Great Wall connects the sea and the sky, and people fly to the top of the pole".
With a total area of 700 mu, Laolongtou Scenic Area consists of Shicheng, Haishen Temple, Jinglutai, Nanhaikou, Chenghailou, Ninghai City and Binhai Great Wall. Chenghailou is the commanding height of the old faucet, and it is also a scenic spot to watch the sea. Laolongtou is the eastern starting point of Zhen Ji Town, the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty, located in the coastal highland 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan.
It is called "Old Dragon" here because people compare the Great Wall of Wan Li to a dragon. The dragon walked through the desert, climbed Helan and Taihang Mountain, descended from Yanshan Mountain, flew to Bohai Sea, tied a knot in the corridor of western Liaoning, erected mountains and seas, and then led its neck into the sea. This part of the sea is an old dragon.
Inside the old faucet, there are scenic spots to play.
1. Chenghai Building
Chenghailou Chenghailou is the only attic near the sea on the Great Wall in past dynasties. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and is called the Sea Pavilion. 16 1 1 year, Wang Zhizhong, commander of Shanhaiguan Military Division, transformed it into a two-story pavilion-like building-Chenghai Tower, 1900 was destroyed by Eight-Nation Alliance artillery fire, and 1987 rebuilt its original appearance. This is the commanding height of the old faucet.
2. Old Dragon Head Sea Temple
The sea temple of the old faucet was built by the sea, and the pavilion behind it was hung in the sea. Of course, you should visit the old faucet. It will be finished in less than half an hour. There are Dragon King and Mazu in it, and the configuration is still very comprehensive.
3. Ninghai Building
Ninghai Tower, the old leading scenic spot, is the first gate you see shortly after entering. This is also the floorboard of the whole army stationed here in ancient times. Looking at the terrain, people can easily know that this is a battleground for military strategists, with mountains on one side and sea on the other. Only this narrow plain, connecting the northeast and north China, can be described as a place of throat. One person can defend it, and ten thousand people can't force it.
