5. How many kilometers is it from Chengde to road trip in Beidaihe?
Beidaihe is very close to Qinhuangdao, so you can walk around nearby and save money. For example, Shanhaiguan, Laolongtou and Nandaihe. I have been there twice, and it is also a good place for summer vacation, but it is not the same place as the summer resort. The summer resort is in Chengde, where Emperor Guangxu took refuge. I didn't. I haven't been there. I don't have to say too much. I must visit it in my lifetime to see what the emperor's refuge looks like.
