Prose with friends coming from afar

Recently, Mr. Li Jingwu, an alumnus, and his wife came to Chengdu to visit the ancient city and visit friends. Among the friends to visit, Mr. Jason Wu ranked me first. He has said many times that he wanted to see me when he first came to Chengdu. For me, it's really an old saying: it's a pleasure to have friends from afar.

Among the friends that Mr. Jason Wu will meet, there is a classmate of his wife who is also my friend. That year we were assigned to the same unit in Chengdu, and we have been in frequent contact since retirement. The other friends that Mr. Li is going to meet are also friends of the literary and art circles and my good friends. Teacher Li also got to know them through article exchange because of my introduction.

Mr Li Jingwu is an alumnus of Jiaotong University, but he is not in the same class or department. It can be said that he didn't know each other when he was at school, and he has been friends since he was old. We know each other because of the first book written by Mr. Li. At that time, Jason Wu was writing some chapters of the book in the alumni group. It's about my study and life in Jiaotong University. I was fascinated by his writing and articles. After reading it, I wrote down my own thoughts and introduced him to register some stations where I served as a moderator or editor, such as Jiangshan Literature, Handwritten Literature, Starlight Literature, Western Writers and Western Literature. Jason Wu published many of his works. He also served as the editor of Jiangshan Literature Spring and Autumn Society. His articles were completed and published one by one, and were finally included in his first 400,000-word book, The Collected Works of Jason Wu. I wrote the preface of the anthology at the invitation of my husband. Subsequently, Mr. Jason Wu published the second book "Intoxicating Wild Chrysanthemum-Selected Works of Jason Wu (II)", which included the newly published articles after the publication of the author's first selected works and was also the preface I wrote. With these two books and many articles published in the station, Mr. Jason Wu applied for membership of Hubei Writers Association. In 20 14, he became a full member of the provincial writers association with the approval of the fourth meeting of the sixth presidium of the provincial writers association, realizing his literary dream since childhood. Jason Wu couldn't help crying with joy and told me the good news at once. In this way, we became best friends.

Li Jingwu has always planned to travel to Chengdu. The old couple plan to visit Chengdu in April, one is to visit the ancient city, and the other is to visit friends. After learning this news, I have been planning to help him book a hotel and arrange their trip in Chengdu. Unexpectedly, however, I fell ill after the Spring Festival this year. The reason is that I went to Lugu Lake during the Spring Festival and suffered from severe altitude sickness. I vomited all my bile on the mountain road, and I haven't been able to eat well since I came back, which led to serious anemia. During that time, I was short of breath and chest tightness after a few steps, and my child sent me to the hospital for treatment. Jason Wu was very concerned about the news that I was hospitalized and discharged. He chatted with me many times to understand my physical condition and stopped worrying about his trip to Chengdu. He said he would take care of it and come to Chengdu to see me as soon as possible.

A few days later, I heard him say that he had booked the soft sleeper train ticket to Chengdu and the hotel to stay, which was handled by his daughter in Shanghai online. The hotel he booked was the nearest four-star hotel according to my home address. He said it was convenient to visit me at my home. I was very moved. I immediately went to the hotel to observe the situation of accommodation and travel and prepare for the arrival of my friends.

Their train arrived at Chengdu East Station at noon on April 10. Jason Wu said that I was in poor health, and she refused to let me pick it up at the station, saying that they were not tired by taking a soft berth. Let me rest assured that I will take a taxi to the hotel after leaving the station. I was still not at ease, so I helped them find the location of the taxi at the station and informed my friends in time. I have an appointment with my friend. I will meet them at the hotel on the afternoon of 10 to discuss their seven-day trip in Chengdu.

At noon on April 10, Mr. Jing and Mrs. Jing arrived in Chengdu on time, took a taxi to the hotel according to my instructions, and sent me a text message after they settled in the hotel. I will reply immediately and let them have a good rest at noon. I visited them at the hotel in the afternoon. Because of the death of her wife and eldest brother, she went to Tangshan for the funeral. That day, I stayed at my daughter's house to help look after my granddaughter. It took nearly 1 hour by car from my daughter's house and arrived at the hotel where the husband and wife stayed at 3 pm. When friends meet, they can't help making people cry. We met in Xi 'an on the anniversary last year. He is ill and in poor health. I was seriously ill in hospital before he came to Chengdu this year. We are over 70 years old, and time waits for no one. In the hotel, we discussed their activities in Chengdu. In just seven days, I tried to spend more time with them.

Jason Wu attaches great importance to the feelings of literary friends. On April 1 1, the day after they arrived in Chengdu, they decided to visit their literary friends in Happy Meilin for a cup of tea. I am very satisfied with Jason Wu's plan. Tea Heart is also my good friend for many years, and I introduced Jason Wu to her. A few years ago, a tea heart was the president of Jiangshan Tianya Community. She made me vice president, and when he was ill, she made me president for a while. With the joint efforts of everyone, the ranking of Tianya community rose to the third place, which is a very good result. At that time, Tea Heart knew that I was also in Chengdu, and invited me to Meilin for tea many times. For various reasons, it has not been able to make it. This time, I took advantage of Jason Wu's visit to Chengdu, and we went to the Tea Heart together. This is a great thing. When we arrived in Meilin, the tea heart who lived nearby was already waiting for us at the gate of Meilin. Because I'm here, Tea Heart is also called Qingqing. I used to be the editor-in-chief of poetry in Tianya Community. She also lives in Chengdu. Tea Heart and Qingqing, two beautiful women, took us around Meilin and took many photos together. Happy Meilin, one of the "five golden flowers" in the construction of new countryside in Chengdu, is a national 4A scenic spot with more than 3,000 mu of plum blossoms. Tea says that wintersweet and red plum in the garden are more beautiful if it is winter and early spring. Tea Heart led us to a farmhouse with good conditions and good scenery to have a rest, drink tea and chat. Tea heart showed her kung fu tea art, and everyone was in a good mood and talked a lot about literature and life. I recalled the unforgettable years with her and Qingqing in Tianya community. At noon, Tea Heart ordered a table of delicious food to entertain us and drank wine. When saying goodbye, Qing Qing also asked Didi to take my husband and wife to the hotel. Happy day, unforgettable friendship.

On April 12, the third day after their arrival in Chengdu, Fu Jiang, an alumnus and friend in the literary and art circles who lives in Deyang, came to the hotel to visit the couple. I must stay with them and invite Luo. When our five alumni from Xi Jiaotong University met, they were very happy. We went to the campus of Polytechnic University for a walk, chatting and taking photos. On the campus of the university, seeing those young students coming and going reminds us of the campus life of that year. We have many experiences, which are precious and unforgettable years in our lives. After the reform and opening up, alumni Fu went to the sea to set up a business, which was very successful. Fu, an alumnus of Sichuan Alumni Association of Jiaotong University, and I met a long time ago. He is the vice chairman of the Alumni Association, and we get together every year. After reading three books written by him in the past two years, we have become good literary friends again, one of the three literary friends written in my article "I don't know each other at school, but I become friends in old age". This time, he sent me a painting with the words "Yunshan demeanor" written on it. It was really good calligraphy. It has the inscription "Mr. Yu Pei is elegant and upright". I know that these four words he wrote are a compliment to me, and I can only thank him humbly.

On April 13, I accompanied Jason Wu and his wife to visit Wuhou Temple. Jason Wu said that other scenic spots can't be visited, and Wuhou Temple must be visited. He has great respect for Zhuge Liang, who was born in Xiangyang. In Wuhou Temple, we visited carefully and took photos from time to time. Jason Wu also photographed those wonderful couplets praising Zhuge Liang as a souvenir. Out of Wuhou Temple, next to Jinli, we drank tea and reminisced about the past in the quaint old streets, and tasted the famous snacks in Chengdu, Sanpao, Dragon Copy Book and Dandan Noodles ..., which made Jason Wu and his two foreign guests full of praise.

On April 14, Wenyou Qingqing invited Jason Wu and his wife to visit Chengdu Dongjiao Memory. Chengdu Dongjiao Memory is close to her home, the hotel where Jason Wu stayed and my home, so I naturally accompanied them. Literary friend Qingqing, the pen name of Jiangshan literature is Lanhui Qinger, and the pen name of handwriting literature is Green Grass Qingqing. We also met for the first time in Merlin that day. We are really a warm and beautiful girl. Recently, I learned that Qing Qing, a Sichuan writer, was invited to participate in the literary activities of gathering hundreds of pillars in the literary world. All the participants are well-known writers in China, and Chou Shi (Song) of Jiangshan Literature is one of the guests, which shows Qingqing's literary achievements. Qingqing invited us to visit the eastern suburbs. In the eastern suburb of Chengdu, which used to be an old industrial zone in Chengdu, dozens of large factories with tens of thousands of people were built after liberation. Now most of these factories have moved away. On the site of a big factory, Chengdu East Music Park was built, and later it was officially renamed as "Memory of the Eastern Suburb". Memory in the eastern suburbs has become a multicultural park integrating music, art, drama, photography and other cultural forms, and a modern and international highland of cultural and creative industries in Chengdu. The memory tourist scenic spot in the eastern suburbs of Chengdu has realized the organic integration of cultural creativity and tourism services, and has become a good place for citizens to relax and entertain. Our tour, taking pictures in front of various physical models left by those factories, can arouse the nostalgia of our generation. Qingqing invited us to have tea and chat in the tea garden converted from the original workshop and have dinner in the original factory canteen. It has a nostalgic atmosphere, the venue remains the same, and the content is different from that of that year. It is already a restaurant dealing in all kinds of Sichuan cuisine.

On April 15, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Wu visited Kuanzhai Lane. I couldn't accompany them for some reason, but I arranged a bus and tour route for them in advance. "Kuanzhai Lane" is one of the three historical and cultural protection areas in Chengdu. It is composed of three parallel streets: wide alley, narrow alley and Jingxiang alley in old Chengdu, and the quadrangle community between them. It is listed in the protection plan of Chengdu's historical and cultural city. Kuanzhai Lane consists of 45 quadrangles in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, garden buildings with artistic and cultural connotations, and newly-built boutique hotels with their own characteristics. Jason Wu and his wife took many photos, which vividly reflected the characteristics of Kuanzhai Lane.

On April 6th, 16, my wife and I went to the hotel to visit Jason Wu and his wife. A few days ago, my wife went to Tangshan to attend the funeral of my brother who just died. When she came back, she said that she had to visit Jason Wu and his wife. When we arrived at the hotel, everyone hit it off. My wife has read Jason Wu's collected works for a long time and has always admired Jason Wu's literary talent. Jason Wu also read my article about his wife, and we had a very speculative chat after meeting. We visited the campus of Polytechnic University near the hotel and took a group photo. I took them to geological museum to visit those precious unearthed minerals, especially all kinds of large dinosaur fossil specimens. I repeatedly lamented that I was really glad that you came. When I returned to the hotel lobby, I saw a calligraphy desk and chair for customers. A piece of rice paper is spread on it, with large and small brushes and inkstones on it. I got up at once, and with a stroke of a pen, I wrote the four characters "Friendship always exists". A lady at the front desk came to take pictures of calligraphy with her mobile phone. I saw that the other party liked it, so I wrote down the lady's name and Huicun and gave the calligraphy to the other party. It can be said that this is the successful conclusion of Jason Wu Seven Days Hotel.

On April 17, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Wu ended their seven-day trip to Chengdu and returned to Xiangyang by train. Jason Wu won't let me take them to the car, so I can only silently wish them a safe journey. When Jason Wu said goodbye to me, he wrote a poem: To an alumnus, Wang Peiyu, to let him gallop in the literary world. He is famous in the world and has made many friends. When you are sick, Chengdu will be bosom friends, and the friendship of classmates is better than that of family. On the train home, Jason Wu wrote another poem to bid farewell to us: Fate never comes to Sichuan, and a week's visit is worth ten years. I was lucky enough to know my friends, and I remembered them in Jiuquan.

On the morning of April 6th, Jason Wu called me as soon as he got home. They got home safely. I thank them for coming to Chengdu to see me. He thanked us for our warm reception, and the affection of our friends was beyond words. I told him to take good care and recover. He said that he was very happy to come to Chengdu this time and he gained weight. He told me to take care of myself and meet as much as possible in the future. I was so excited that I shed tears and was once again moved by Mr. Jason Wu's persistent friendship with his friends.
