Introduction to the Mulberry Cherry Festival in Dexian County:

The opening ceremony of the Mulberry Cherry Blossom Festival and the "Mulberry Cherry Blossoms Red Joy of Dechang" party was successfully held in Dechang County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province on the 8th. This marks the official opening of the 2018 Sichuan Flower (Fruit) Eco-tourism Festival and Dechang County Mulberry Festival.

The theme of this event is "Forestry eco-tourism helps rural revitalization, mulberry and cherry blossom leisure park, and happiness in all seasons". The entire event will last until May 8. Dechang will promote high-quality agricultural products such as mulberries and cherries through the festival to help farmers increase their income and promote rural revitalization.

The specific activities are: Dechang Agricultural Products Exhibition will be held from Nanshan Road to the entrance of Nanshan Middle School from 8:30 to 18:30 on April 8;

At 19:00 on April 8 30-21:30, the opening ceremony of the Mulberry Cherry Blossom Festival and the "Mulberry Cherry Blossoms, Red Joy Yang Dechang" party was held at the playground of Mianyang Nanshan International School in Panxi County.

On April 9, 9:00-11:00, a mulberry cherry picking and tasting experience event will be held in Shaba Village, Yuele Town, Dechang;

April 16, 9:00 00-17:30, Dechang Vocational Middle School held a mulberry product DIY competition.

During the event, a mulberry-cherry themed photo exhibition and the Southwest Badminton Open will also be held.

Picking points

Set up mulberry and cherry picking experience points in Dezhou Town, Gaoxiao Town, Wangsuo Town and Yonglang Town.

In 2007, long mulberry was recognized as a Class A green food product by the Ministry of Agriculture, and in 2015 it was listed as a protected geographical indication product in China. The Chinese Sericulture Society awarded Dechang County the title of "China's Ecological Fruit and Mulberry Hometown". In 2015, the mulberry fruit output was 15,100 tons, with a comprehensive output value of 150 million yuan. It is known as the "No. 1 Mulberry County in China".

During the event, all visitors can experience the fun of picking mulberry cherries in the fields and have a hearty meal. In addition, they can also participate in a series of activities, such as experiencing the unique rural wooden houses in the ecological Jiaoban Village, visiting the ecological sightseeing agriculture in Dechang County, tasting the specialties of ecological agriculture, experiencing the surfing style of the Lisu water village, and participating in the "Cool Starry Night" Oktoberfest.

1. Take a bus to Dechang County;

2. Take a bus from the county to Jiaoban Village; visit the cherry orchard and taste cherries (4 -May), enjoy the pastoral scenery, taste the taste of farmers, and experience the life of farmers.
