Where is Harry's tomb? Translation of Yang Lianxuan's Couplet in Hairui Tomb
Where is Harry's tomb? In the Ming Dynasty, it was called Qiongshan Mountain in Guangdong Province. After Harry died, the fallen leaves were transported back to his hometown Haikou. 1589, Harry's mausoleum was built by the emperor himself, which also shows that Harry was valued and loved by the emperor.
Hairui Tomb was built in 1589, which took several years to prove. Now Hairui Tomb has become a cultural relic, and now it has also become a tourist attraction. Strange things happened again and again when Harry was buried. Harry died in Nanjing, and then Harry's body was transported from Nanjing to his hometown Haikou. When he arrived at a village in the western suburbs of Haikou, Harry's coffin rope was broken. At that time, people believed in gods and thought that this was the place where Harry wanted to stay after his death. So these mourners buried Harry in this village, where Harry's grave is now, Binya Village. Two years later, the emperor sent his subordinates to build a grave for Harry.
The tomb V of Hairui Tomb is made of granite, and the shape of Hairui Tomb is very general. The whole Tomb No.5 is a prototype, 3 meters high, which is equivalent to a building of one and a half floors. There are two figures guarding Harry's grave. These two men are like Harry's slaves. They have been following Harry for many years. Harry usually wears patched clothes when he is an official. Tight-fisted Harry hasn't had a good day, let alone followed his servants, but the two servants have always been loyal to Harry. The names of these two servants are Haian and Haixiong. Many people will think that these two men are Harry's sons, but they are not. Harry had no children, so he set up two servants to accompany Harry.
There is a stone tablet in front of Harry's grave, which records Harry's life. This stone tablet was sent by Harry's hometown to write. The hometown here is Xu Ziwei, who was sent by the emperor to build a cemetery for Harry. Harry's tomb also has a back garden. A typical landmark of the garden is the pavilion, and the couplets on the pavilion are two couplets written by Harry himself.
Harry's tomb presents three patterns. In front is Harry's Tomb No.5, and behind it is the back garden, Yang Lianxuan. There is an attic in the back called Qingfeng Pavilion. Tomb 5 mainly contains Harry's body. Yang Lianxuan is mainly displayed in the form of a garden, and a pavilion couplet is created by Harry himself. Yang Lianxuan also has a sculpture of Harry in memory of Harry. The Qingfeng Pavilion behind the porch is mainly used to store Harry's related supplies, which is equivalent to a small showroom. Harry's life and used things are reserved for future generations to commemorate and pay tribute to.
Hairui Tomb is relatively small, with a height of 2.6m and a diameter of1.6m.. The tombstone in front of Hai Rui's tomb is 4 meters high and belongs to a cultural relic 400 years ago, so it has high research value.
