Do I need a visa to travel to Japan?

1) Japan has decided to simplify the visa application procedures for undergraduates, postgraduates and students within three years after graduation from the 1243 university affiliated to the Ministry of Education of China (previously only for 75 universities). As long as they have proof of study, they can apply for a single travel visa for up to 30 days. According to the scale of undergraduate and graduate students in China, this policy is expected to benefit 25 million to 30 million people.

(2) If there are Japanese tourists who come to China twice as individuals (instead of joining a group) within three years, the procedures for applying for multiple-entry visas will also be simplified. Visitors can apply for multiple entry visas only by preparing their passports and application forms. The Japanese side does not require proof of economic ability.
