Travel Guide to Lake Hala

Hala Lake is an undeveloped virgin land hidden deep in the hinterland of the Qilian Mountains. With the development of tourism and adventure activities on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Hala Lake has gradually entered people's sight.

The road from Delingha City to Hala Lake is about 140 kilometers. The first section is the 25-kilometer scenic cement road in Delingha Baishu Mountain Park. After crossing the first pass and entering the mountain, it is basically newly built. The gravel road winds between the mountains and hills of the Qilian Mountains, passing through many grasslands and wetlands, and the scenery is endless. Due to the long distance, a yurt hotel-style accommodation area has been opened by the lake. The mobile signal is only used for calls. Note:

You must bring your own meals. Even in summer, you should carry a down sleeping bag with a high cold protection index.

There may be brown bears near Lake Hala. Please pay attention to safety when going on an adventure. It is best to travel in a convoy with several vehicles.
