Nanxiang town, which belongs to Jiading District, Shanghai, is one of the four famous historical towns in Shanghai. In history, it was once known as "Small South Xiang Sai Su Cheng". 1, Yun Xiang Temple (Nanxiang Temple)

Yun Xiang Temple was founded in the 4th year of the Southern Liang Dynasty (505), formerly known as "Baihe Nanxiang Temple". At the peak of the Tang Dynasty, the temple base expanded to 180 mu. During the Song Shaoding period, the name of the temple was changed to Nanxiang Temple because of the plaque given by Li Zong and Zhao Yun. In the thirty-ninth year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty (1700), Emperor Kangxi gave him "Yun Xiang Temple", so it was renamed Yun Xiang Temple.
