Must-see attractions in Chengdu, Sichuan

Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base, Dujiangyan Scenic Area, Qingcheng Mountain, Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Caotang and Kuanzhai Lane are the must-see tourist attractions in Chengdu, Sichuan.

1, Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base

There are many giant pandas in MengMeng in the base. You can watch these lovely national treasures at close range. The base is located in the northern suburb of Chengdu, about 10 km away from the urban area. It is built by completely simulating the wild living environment of giant pandas, including lakes, streams, bamboo forests and lawns.

2. Dujiangyan Scenic Area

Dujiangyan Scenic Area is located on the main stream of Minjiang River in the west of Dujiangyan City. It was built by Li Bing and his son, the prefect of Shu County of Qin State, in about 256 BC. It is a well-preserved ancient water conservancy project in China. The project consists of three main projects: Yuzui Fenshui Dike, Sha Fei Weir Spillway and Baojiangkou Water Intake, as well as auxiliary projects such as Baizhang Dike and herringbone Dike. The turbulent Minjiang River is divided into Waijiang River and Neijiang River, and the Waijiang River is used for flood discharge and Neijiang River is used for irrigation, making the western Sichuan Plain a "land of abundance".

3. Qingcheng Mountain

Qingcheng Mountain has been known as "Qingcheng Mountain is quiet in the world" since ancient times. It is divided into two parts: the front mountain and the back mountain. 5. Du Fu Caotang

6. Kuanzhai Lane

Kuanzhai Lane is the only ancient street left over from the Qing Dynasty in Chengdu. It consists of three parallel old-fashioned urban streets, namely, wide alley, narrow alley and well alley, and the quadrangle community between them.
