Taiwan passport application for Russian visa

(Recently, there have been several cases where Chinese people went to Russia for business negotiations with tourist visas, but were deported by airport immigration officials on the grounds that "the purpose of coming to Russia was inconsistent with the visa.")

3. In addition, those traveling to Russia with a tourist visa must bring their hotel reservation records and an invitation letter issued by a travel agency. It is best to have a local travel agency pick you up at the airport. (In recent years, some Chinese have been deported due to incomplete documents as mentioned above). The visa invited by a Russian friend is a "guest visa". Therefore, if you stay with a friend on a tourist visa, you will have problems with registration of residence and exit cards.

4. Precautions for Chinese citizens to transfer in Russia and apply for a "transit visa":

1. There are three international airports in Moscow:

(1) Sheremetyevo Airport (codename: SVO, located in the north of Moscow) has five terminals including B.C.D.E.F. 2. Foreigners transiting at Moscow Airport must obtain a "transit visa" in advance under the following three circumstances:

3. Chinese citizens apply for a Russian "transit visa" from the Taipei Representative Office of the Moscow-Taipei Economic and Cultural Coordination Committee in Taipei. The necessary documents are as follows:

10. "Notice of Arrival Report": On January 15, 2007, the "Law on the Immigration Registration of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons of the Russian Federation" came into effect. Within 3 working days after arriving in the destination city in Russia, foreign citizens must go to the Immigration Bureau to apply for the "Notification of Arrival Report" or mail the "Notification of Arrival Report" to the Immigration Bureau. 13.
