Where is Liye Village located?
Liye Village is located in Daciyan, Jiande City, Zhejiang Province, beside the provincial Longge Highway, only 2 kilometers away from National Highway 330, and is the junction of Hangzhou, Jinhua and Quzhou. It is located in the radiation belt of the golden tourist route in western Zhejiang; it is surrounded by well-known scenic spots and attractions. It is connected to Lanxi Zhuge Bagua Village in the southeast, Longyou Grottoes in the west, and Daciyan Scenic Area in the city in the northwest. Liye has beautiful scenery, with Shiziyan Yueling in the north and Yanfeng Yuxiu in the south. "Shouchang County Chronicles: Scenic Spots Chronicles" records that Inkstone Mountain is located thirty miles south of the county. The mountain is a hundred feet high, the top of the mountain is straight, and there is a pool like an inkstone, hence the name. There was a poem in the Ming Dynasty that said: "I lean on the cliff thousands of feet high in the sky. I look at the mountains and rivers and see the wind. I clap my hands and look at the shortcomings of the pavilion, and I feel like I am in the blue clouds." To the north, Lion Rock has a dangerous terrain and is far away from Yanshan Mountain. "Shuchang County Chronicle" records: "The mountain is thousands of feet high, and there is a stone on the top of the mountain that looks like a lion, hence the name." There are several holes in the mountain with clear and sweet springs, which are natural mineral water. In January 1927, Bai Chongxi led the Northern Expeditionary Army in a fierce battle with the troops of Beiyang warlord Sun Chuanfang here. There is a small stream in front of the village and behind the village, which never dries up all year round. The ancient path beside the Changle River in front of the village is neat and elegant. Liye Village has a long history of village construction. During the Jingde period of Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty (1004-1007), two brothers of the Ye family moved from Nanyang County, Henan to the area of ??today's Liye Village. Due to the discord between the brothers, one of them moved to live outside the village. The two brothers multiplied and multiplied, developing into Liye and Waiye Villages. Ye Liang Village. Later, the people in Waiye changed their surname to Jin and changed the name of the village to Changle (now Changle Village in Lanxi). Liye Village was called Changle District before the Qing Dynasty and Shishan Township in the Republic of China. After liberation, it was renamed Liye Township and was evacuated in 1992. Liye Village now has a population of about 1,500, all with the surname Ye. In the village, there is the Liye Ancestral Hall built in the late Ming Dynasty and the Ye Family Hall built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Outside the hall, there is a field shaped like a brush and a pond shaped like an ink stone. The villagers call it "Zhibi Qiu" and "Inkstone Pond". In addition, there are a large number of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties that are well preserved in the village. Liye cultivated and studied for generations, and made a fortune by practicing medicine and opening medicine shops. The medicine shops he opened were all over Jinhua, Kaihua, Quzhou, Chun'an and other places. There was also the custom of inviting Huizhou a cappella singing troupes to perform in the village and passed down from generation to generation. Liye Village is also famous for growing lotus, which has a history of more than 800 years. During the Qian Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, lotus seeds were listed as tribute. In 1998, it won the Zhejiang Provincial Agricultural Products Gold Medal. Nowadays, every household in Liye Village grows lotus and uses it as a pillar of local economic development, forming a spectacular "Ten Miles of Lotus" landscape, making Liye Village the most famous scenic spot in Zhejiang Province after the "Quyuan Fenghe" in Hangzhou West Lake. Shili Lotus
Liye Village in Daciyan Town has been planting lotus seeds for nearly a thousand years. It has been recorded in the poems of the Southern Song Dynasty and was designated as a tribute during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a famous hometown of lotus seeds. During the lotus blooming season, when you step into Liye Village, you will enter the realm of "the lotus leaves touching the sky are infinitely blue, and the lotus flowers reflecting the sun are uniquely red".
Near Liye Village, there are Shili Lotus, Daci Rock, Xinye Ancient Village, Licun Vernacular Architecture, Shangwufang Village Vernacular Architecture and other tourist attractions have Jiande strawberries, Jiande baocao tea, Liye white lotus, Yandongguan Wujiapi wine, Jiande strawberries and other specialties.
