Yongcheng Taiwei Laojuntang Temple Fair is an ancient Han folk custom and folk religious cultural activity. Temple Fair is located in Taiqiu Town, yongcheng city City, Henan Province, adjacent to Mangdang Mountain, a national AAAA-level scenic spot with beautiful scenery and profound cultural heritage. It is the largest Millennium temple fair integrating business, tourism, culture, religion and variety within hundreds of kilometers of the border between Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, and it is a grand gathering of Han folk culture with strong local characteristics. Temple fair is the oldest at the junction of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, and it is the largest material distribution center and folk art festival in the northwest of Yongcheng. There is a Taoist temple in Taiqiu Town, yongcheng city-Laojun Hall. Laojuntang is located in front of the dormitory building in the backyard of Taiwei No.1 Middle School. 30 meters south of Laojuntang stands the Monument to the Revolutionary Martyrs of Huaihai Campaign and Taiqiu Campaign, where more than 30 revolutionary martyrs, including Li Chuntang, died for our happy life today. Forty meters further south, there are two Han tombs that have been discovered. The cultural relics in the tombs were handed over to Shangqiu by Shangqiu Cultural Bureau in the 1970s. According to Yongcheng County Records, there are tombs of Chen Ping, Prime Minister of the Chinese Emperor, and Cao Bin, Duke of Lu in the Northern Song Dynasty in the north of Laojuntang. This is a paradise in the minds of ancient emperors and generals.

During the temple fair, the town will invite dance, folk art and acrobatic teams from surrounding areas to perform at the Laojuntang Temple Fair in the form of setting up a stage for culture, singing opera in economy and trade, which not only enriches the cultural life of the masses, but also attracts surrounding merchants to visit and exchange materials at the temple fair, which has stimulated the gathering of people, logistics and information flow and promoted the rapid economic development of the town. In addition, temple fairs also focus on offering sacrifices to gods, burning incense, praying for children and cultural tourism. There are various Han traditional folk handicrafts, local products, folk snacks and folk unique skills at the temple fair.
