Zhangjiajie Tour Guide Certificate Registration Time

According to the registration time and examination schedule of the previous tour guide certificate examinations, it is expected that the registration time for the 2022 tour guide certificate examination will start in August, and the examination will be held in November, in order to avoid missing the registration and examination.

The application requirements are summarized as follows:

1. Citizens of the People's Republic of China.

2. Have a senior high school, secondary vocational school or above degree.

3. Good health.

4. Have basic knowledge and language expression skills that meet the needs of tour guides.

Contents of Tour Guide Certificate Examination

Candidates taking the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination must take both the written test and the on-site test (interview). Candidates who have obtained the Chinese Tour Guide Qualification Certificate and need to switch to a foreign language (hereinafter referred to as "Additional Examination Candidates") only need to take the on-site examination (interview).

The written examination is uniformly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and conducted in a computer-based examination. The subjects are policies and laws and regulations (subject 1), tour guide business (subject 2), basic knowledge of national tour guides (subject 3), local Basic knowledge of tour guides (Subject 4).

Subjects 1 and 2 are combined into one test paper for testing, and subjects 3 and 4 are combined into one test paper for testing. Each test paper is worth 100 points, and the test time is 90 minutes.

The subject of the on-site examination (interview) is tour guide service ability (Subject 5), which is organized and implemented uniformly across the province and conducted using computer-based examinations.

The candidate’s test results are considered qualified if the written test score, on-site test (interview) score and total score all meet the marking requirements. Candidates who take the additional examination will be considered qualified if their on-site examination (interview) scores meet the marking requirements. Candidates' test scores are only valid for that year.
