Advantages and disadvantages of two lake-type tourist resorts

Lake-type tourism and holiday park is a special park with the theme of leisure and holiday, and it is also a park-type tourist area. Therefore, when planning this kind of tourist area, we should pay attention to its holiday function and ensure its necessary characteristics as a park. Taking Taihu Bay Tourist Resort and Juniper Water System Project as examples, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of lake-type tourist resorts, and provides reference for planning this type of scenic spots in the future:

Taihu bay tourist resort

(1) Project Overview

Taihu Bay Tourist Resort is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and is built around Taihu Lake, one of the five major lakes in China. Its core planning area is about 10km? , the planned protection scope is 17. 17km? . The development time lasted for more than ten years, and the whole resort was very mature. There are all kinds of historical and cultural products, modern science and technology products, leisure and holiday products, entertainment and sports products, which are attractive to tourists. The average tourist stays for about two days.

(2) Planning concept

Fully functional, emphasizing experience, zoning planning, and reserving buffer zones in the planning area and adjacent villages and towns.

(3) Analysis of landscape characteristics

The terrain of the scenic spot is mainly low mountains and hills, with abundant vegetation and wetland resources. The whole scenic spot combines nature with humanity. The layout of scenic spots is reasonable, with distinctive features at home and abroad, and modern science and technology are intertwined with novel landscapes and scenic spots, giving people a good leisure and holiday experience and novel sensory enjoyment.

(4) Case enlightenment

The case can draw lessons from the advantages: the location is far from the urban area and the environmental quality is good. The pre-market investigation is perfect, and the functional zoning can basically meet the needs of tourists. Scenic spots can fully tap local historical and cultural concepts, and there are many scenic spots and facilities that reflect local customs and history. At the same time, we can keep pace with the times, fully develop high-tech scenic spots and simulate large movie scenes, and the development concept is constantly updated.

Related problems exposed by the case: because it is far from the urban area, the transportation supporting system leading to the scenic spot is not perfect and the accessibility is not strong. Moreover, the resort is high-grade and not suitable for everyone.

"Juniper water system" project

(1) Project Overview

The Juniper Water System Project is located in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. The whole project is divided into three phases, connecting four rivers and five lakes in the ancient capital, and setting up docks along the river. At that time, tourists could go boating in the ancient city of Kaifeng. The whole water system is fully functional, with Song-style buildings, market streets, holiday hotels, inns and other buildings and pavilions on both sides. At present, the second phase of the whole water system project has been completed.

(2) Planning concept

Adhere to the integrity of planning, shape the focus of scenic spots, but also pay attention to the complementary development of nodes, streamline and interface.

(3) Analysis of landscape characteristics

The style of architecture, planning and landscape setting is imitation of Song Dynasty. The local water bodies and vegetation features are outstanding, the route is tortuous, the historical and cultural atmosphere is strong, and the amusement experience is good.

(4) Case enlightenment

The case can draw lessons from the advantages: full of ancient rhyme, perfect waterway tourism development, and unique sun and night scenes. Serving foreign tourists has greatly improved the living environment and quality of life of local residents.

Related problems exposed by the case: the narrow road setting is easy to cause tourists to deposit during the peak period of tourism, and the water body revetment setting is too rigid, which is not conducive to the local waterfront ecology. Its holiday function zoning is not obvious, its function is not perfect, its holiday buildings are scattered, and the infrastructure of scenic spots is relatively backward. At the same time, the development of water system engineering has caused overheating of surrounding real estate, and too many tourists have also caused environmental pollution.

Summary: There are few studies on lake tourism and holiday parks in China, and the relevant definitions are not strong. Although some advantages can be used for reference, there are still many problems in their design, so many shortcomings are exposed in the later period. Under the background of the new era, the lake-type tourist areas in China are developing in a multi-functional and complicated direction. Therefore, as a multi-functional tourist destination, whether the lake-type tourist holiday park can actively seek more scientific planning and design ideas is directly related to its future development.
