I feel a little bit about the root-seeking journey (my surname is Shi 500-word composition) and need it urgently! ! ! Please, everyone.

I remember/kloc-on the morning of July, 2005, it suddenly rained heavily in Guangzhou. That afternoon was the time for our Jinan University teachers and students to take part in the "root-seeking tour in China". Because it was raining lightly, we went to Guangzhou Railway Station by train as planned. Everyone got on the train happily. We sat in a hard berth, and the conditions were not bad. A few hours after the train left, it stopped at Shaoguan Meicun Station. At that time, I thought the trains in China wouldn't leave at night, which was a bit puzzling. Unexpectedly, I got up in the morning and heard a bad news. The road in front of the train was destroyed by the flood, while the road behind it was flooded, so our train had to stop in the middle. According to our teacher, it will take two or three days to build this road. Maybe I'm a little nervous about eating and drinking. After listening to the teacher's words, I froze for a while, said nothing, and my tears almost came out. I'm worried about what will happen. When I first got on the train, everyone's face was full of smiles, but now the smile has turned into a sad face. The teacher is very concerned about us, because there is no rice to eat, so the teacher gives us some eggs to eat.

July 17 is our third day on the train. The good news we have been waiting for has finally arrived. The railway has been repaired and we can go to Beijing. Everyone shouted happily. The train passed the newly-built railway and traveled very slowly. At that time, I kept praying to God in my heart: "God, bless our train to pass safely." On the way, we saw farmers' homes, fields and livestock flooded. I was sad to see such a scene, thinking that we were much better than them. After another day, everyone was in a better mood. I sat by the window and looked at the scenery outside, thinking about the disasters that happened in these three days. After this disaster, when we had no food, I felt the meaning of "every grain is hard" more deeply. This is the first disaster I met, and it is something I will never forget.

At noon on July 18, the train finally arrived in Beijing. Before I got off the train, I saw President Jia of our school and several teachers waving to us with smiles on their faces. They came to meet us. As soon as we got off the bus, we went directly to eat, and then went to Jiuhua Mountain Villa Hotel to have a rest. We didn't start our activities until the next day. Jiuhua Mountain Villa Hotel is very luxurious, with beautiful environment and warm service. I feel honored to live there.

On July 19, our sightseeing spot in the morning was the Great Wall of Wan Li. The Great Wall is one of the most spectacular man-made projects in China and the world. It has a long history, huge project and magnificent momentum, and has become one of eight wonders of the world. There is a saying: People who come to China are not true men until they reach the Great Wall. At that time, it was too hot. When we reached the majestic Great Wall, we climbed it step by step. Because there were thousands of people in our tour group, it was not very smooth to climb the Great Wall. We only climbed a few steps and stopped. I stood on the high beacon tower and looked at the surrounding scenery, green trees and the curved Great Wall. At first glance, there are teenagers dressed in yellow, which really looks like a dragon flying. I always wanted to climb up, but we were given too little time, so we had to go back.

After eating Chinese food, we continued to visit the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs are the tombs of thirteen emperors in the Ming Dynasty, which has been more than 500 years since. This is the most intact tomb in the world. After listening to the tour guide's explanation, I was curious and wanted to see for myself what the former Mausoleum was like. When we walked into the main entrance, we saw a bronze statue in danger, surrounded by things used by former emperors and queens. Those things were dug up from the emperor's tomb. Although the colors of those things look a little faded, a closer look shows that they have high artistic value and historical research value. It is said that if we throw money at the bronze statue of the emperor, it will bring us good luck. The more money we throw, the better our luck. Of course, some people believe it and others don't.

At seven o'clock that night, China teenagers from all over the world went to Beijing Shougang Gymnasium to attend the gala. The party is the closing program of "China's Root-seeking Tour". Before the program started, the TV screens on both sides of the stage played the activities of "China's Root-seeking Journey" from the first to the fourth day. After reading it, I was very moved. I didn't expect that Chinese people from all over the world would have the opportunity to come to China this summer to take part in the "root-seeking tour" and appreciate the long history and culture of China. It is a pity that we missed the grand opening ceremony. The song and dance programs of the party are performed by teenagers from all over the world. Although they didn't grow up in China, the programs they performed had China characteristics and were very wonderful.

On July 20th, all the campers who participated in the "root-seeking tour" left the most luxurious Jiuhua Mountain Villa. The campers who arrived early left Beijing on the same day, and our campers from Jinan University in Guangzhou still have two days in Beijing. We moved to Yuyang Hotel. Because it is not far from the city center, it won't take long to visit the scenic spots. The attractions of this day are the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, which is the center of Beijing. Its architecture is the essence of China's ancient architectural art and the pride of China.

Although the weather has become very hot at this time, we still followed the tour guide and listened to her explanation. I have been thinking in my heart, how long will it take to walk through such a wide palace? We are curious about what we see, such as architecture, and ask questions. There are too many things we want to know, but due to time constraints, we have to leave the Forbidden City for Tiananmen Square in a hurry. The majestic Tiananmen Square has become a symbol of China's long history and profound culture. Standing at Tiananmen Gate, you can see Tiananmen Square, which is an indispensable tourist attraction after people enter Beijing. I didn't want this moment to pass too quickly, so I took a photo and kept it as a souvenir.

In the evening, we have free activities. I went shopping in Wangfujing with some friends by bus. At that time, we were very courageous, and we were new to Beijing. We just asked the hotel waiter how to get there. We returned to the hotel very late, and there were few buses to take. When I came back, I celebrated my friend's birthday.

July 2 1 is our last day in Beijing, and the schedule is very tight. Our activity is to visit the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Beijing Enamel Factory and the Red Theater. The Summer Palace was originally a royal garden in the Qing Dynasty, mainly composed of Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake. It is said that Kunming Lake is not a natural lake, but an artificial lake. In the Summer Palace, there are towers, Buddhist pavilions, corridors and a large, semi-circular bridge. The scenery is beautiful. Although the weather is very hot, we feel very comfortable and relaxed when we walk on the wide promenade, enjoy the beautiful Kunming Lake and enjoy the soft wind blowing from the lake, and there is nothing to worry about.

The Temple of Heaven is the largest architectural complex dedicated to heaven in the world, and it is also the place where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties "dedicated to heaven" and "prayed for blessings". Before I got to the Temple of Heaven, I found three layers of circles around me. If you look carefully, each circle has a different carving art: the symbol of clouds, wind and dragons.

The kung fu performance in the evening was wonderful, but we were scared by their performance several times. Because they suddenly appeared beside us in the dark. After the program, the twelve of us went directly to the airport to fly back to Guangzhou in the evening, because we had to catch a plane to return home the next day. When we leave, we are reluctant to leave Beijing, our teachers and our friends. The tall guide Zhang took us to the airport, and we couldn't bear to leave her. Although she only stayed with us for five days, we were as friendly as friends.

I am lucky to be able to take part in this year's "Root-seeking Tour in China", because not everyone wants to take part. Visiting Beijing has become the dream of many tourists all over the world. I had this dream before, but I didn't expect it to come true so soon. I took part in a five-day and four-night "root-seeking tour", and I learned a lot about the history of China and the culture of China. I didn't know anything about those places before, except that it was the palace, where stars made movies. We only watch movies and have different feelings from what we hear and see. Every scenic spot we visited is very beautiful, and its architecture and decoration have profound China cultural connotation and strong national style. I don't want those beautiful scenery and unique buildings to pass me by, so I took pictures everywhere as a souvenir. For me, every photo has the atmosphere and significance at that time. Every photo can leave us with good memories. I hope to have a chance to travel to Beijing in the future.

Finally, I want to say "thank you" to the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office in the State Council. It is you who organized this activity, which broadened our horizons and increased our knowledge. I also want to say "thank you" to Vice President Jia Yimin and the teachers in our school. Thank you for your concern and care, especially when you encounter difficulties on the train.
