Three scenic spots in Nanzhang officially opened on August 10

The Nanzhang Scenic Area Tourism Line jointly built by the Nanzhang County Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Xiangyang Tourism Distribution Center will be officially opened on August 10, 2022. The three scenic spots are Xiangshui River Scenic Area, Chunqiu Village Scenic Area and Xiangyang Wildlife World. These three scenic spots will soon open dedicated lines. The Xiangyang Tourism Distribution Center officially opened on August 10, and the dedicated lines to Xiangshui River in Nanzhang and Xiangyang Wildlife World Scenic Area in Chunqiu Village run every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The first-line special ticket price of 9.9 yuan is limited to 100 people, first come, first served! Special fares are 49 yuan, 49 yuan, and 39 yuan.

1. Xiangshui River Scenic Area

Nanzhang Xiangshui River Scenic Area is one of the core scenic spots of Jingshan eco-tourism in Hubei Province. The scenic spot was developed in the mid-1990s, with a planned area of ??26.75 square kilometers. At present, 8 square kilometers have been developed in the first phase. It is a comprehensive tourist area integrating tourism, recuperation, summer vacation, leisure, hunting, cultural exploration, scientific research and adventure. The scenic area has overlapping mountains, criss-crossing ravines, and undulating terrain. The highest altitude is 937 meters and the lowest altitude is 410 meters. There are 860 hectares of virgin forest in the scenic area, with a forest coverage rate of 98% and an average daily temperature of 19. The complex terrain, diverse ecological environment, long history and unique regional culture have given birth to rich tourism resources and created many natural and cultural landscapes, mainly consisting of canyons, caves, waterfalls, ancient and valuable trees, eroded landscapes, and primitive workshops. It consists of ancient villages, ancient dwellings, religious buildings and red ruins, and is especially famous for its waterfalls. The Xiangshui River, where the Duchong River and the Motianxia Spring merge, meander through the scenic area, forming more than 60 waterfalls, which are spectacular and famous far and wide. 2. Chunqiu Village Scenic Area

Chunqiu Village is located in Luping Village, Donggong Town, Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. The stone houses built on the mountain are lined up in rows, making it a spectacular sight. From a distance, Chunqiu Village looks like a Great Wall on top of the north and south mountains. Chunqiu Zhai is built on the ridge of Liyu Mountain. The mountains are like knives and axes. The mountain village has a unique topography, surrounded by water on three sides and mountains on one side, integrating "strangeness, beauty and danger" into one. There are cliffs, Chunqiu Tower ruins, Feishi Gate and other scenic spots on the mountain village. The scenic spot has profound historical and cultural heritage. According to legend, the Chu State, which was dominated by the Five Hegemons during the Spring and Autumn Period, built this stronghold to resist foreign aggression. It was named after Guan Yu once read "Spring and Autumn" in this stronghold at night. The village is located high on the Liyu Mountain ridge. The terrain is dangerous and it is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It has the advantage of "one day is outside the pass, but ten thousand people cannot force it". This village is a typical example of ancient Nanzhang village sites, embodying the settlement form of defense and residence. Here, 'the water is a green belt, the mountains are like hostas', the blue sky and white clouds, the beautiful water and green cliffs, the enemy towers and ancient castles complement each other and are extremely beautiful. The cultural landscape and the natural landscape are closely connected, which is really a rare wonder of the world. Its majesty is praised by experts as "above Mount Tai's Sky Street and above North China Peak". It is the most beautiful ancient mountain village in China and even the world.

3. Xiangyang Wildlife World

The project adheres to a high starting point, is in line with the first-class large-scale zoos in China, and is constructed based on the principle of "originating from nature, being higher than nature, and returning to nature". It features natural ecology, wildlife breeding and protection, and popular science education, focusing on "touring" and "playing". Planning and construction: tourist service center, animal viewing and sightseeing area, science education area, leisure and entertainment area, performance area, and aquarium.

The project is divided into phases one and two. At present, the first phase has been basically completed, with complete basic supporting facilities such as a tourist service center, animal sightseeing area, amusement area, and performance area. After the project is completed, it will become Xiangyang's first wildlife park, a unique theme park, and a new tourist destination in northwest Hubei.
