A Probe into the Ancient Town of Wang Ping in Wujiang (Ⅲ)

North of Andeqiao is Nanqian Street, with brick carvings on the wall. Engraved with song? Fan Chengda's poem Wangping and the Tang Dynasty? Yan Zhenqing boarded the Wang Ping Bridge. There are no tourists or shops in Nanqian Street, which is a bit deserted. The mottled wall has experienced the vicissitudes of history.

West of Andeqiao North Bridge is Siqian Street, and there is a Canal Culture Auditorium at the corner.

Walking into the auditorium, it seems that the grain depot was transformed. The barrel in the garden is painted with farmers who are happy to harvest.

There are many old items from the 1980s on display in the auditorium. Looking at the Phoenix bicycle by the wall, it seems that I have returned to the time of cycling to work every day.

Cross Yuedongmen to Siqian Street, which is a small street with a length of108m and a width of less than 3m. It is also a veritable old street. Because of its important geographical location and convenient transportation, it used to be the most prosperous street in Wang Ping, and it can be called the first street of Canal Ancient Town!

Lequn Hotel, a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Suzhou, was built on 15 (1926). Now it's the Qunle teahouse.

Walking on Siqian Street and stepping on the stone street polished by years, it seems that I saw the bustling scene of that year.

At the end of Siqian Street is South Street. According to the residents here, many old houses in South Street have been demolished.

There is a food store selling local specialties on the street. We bought Wang Ping Chili sauce, malt cakes and other foods in the street.

In the noodle restaurant in the ancient town, I tasted the delicious eel back.

When we visited the ancient town of Wang Ping in Wujiang, we enjoyed the colorful lakes in the water town, the dynamic tenderness in the south of the Yangtze River and the taste of spring. I'm glad you came.

In the afternoon, we set out for Zhenze Ancient Town.
