Wuping County Tourist Attractions

Wuping County is a county under the jurisdiction of Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is known as the "Golden Triangle" in western Fujian. It has a long history and is an old revolutionary area county and a central Soviet area county. The territory has beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, high forest coverage and superior ecological environment. Tourist attractions in Wuping County include Liangye Mountain, Lingdong Fairy Mountain, Fenshui Waterfall, Lion Rock, Chang'an Deng, etc.

1. Liangye Mountain

The main peak is 1538 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in Wuping. Liangyeshan has natural landscapes such as Liangyeshan Temple, Guzi Stone, Immortal Cave, Immortal Pond, Zhuma Stone, Shuilang Stone, etc. There is Liujia Reservoir in the south, surrounded by roads, and there are passages up the mountain from east to west, south and north. Liangyeshan Nature Reserve mainly protects southern yew populations and rare native forest ecosystems such as tourist wood forests and castanopsis forests. It is known as the "natural green gene bank" and the "wildlife refuge" is a " Green Pearl".

2. Lingdong Fairy Mountain

Lingdong Fairy Mountain, also known as Xishan, is the top of the eight scenic spots in Wuping. There are 28 small caves and 36 large caves on the mountain. It is located ten miles west of the city. The Lingdong Fairy Mountain Group The mountains are green, the water is clear, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, and the scenery is charming. 3. Fenshui Waterfall

Fenshui Waterfall is located on the mountainside of Lashijidong in Fenshui Village, Chengxiang Township, southeast of the county. The waterfall consists of one about 20 meters high and another about 8 meters high. It is composed of tall waterfalls, all of which fall vertically. The broad-leaved forest area in Lashiji is vast and intact, and the ecological environment is extremely primitive.

4. Lion Rock

Lion Rock is located in Xiaba Township on the border of Fujian and Guangdong, 33 kilometers away from the county seat. It belongs to Danxia landform and is composed of many strange peaks two to three hundred meters high. , there are dense exotic flowers and plants growing on the top of the peak, and towering ancient trees. One of the mountains is shaped like a crouching lion, hence the name. There is a small river running around the mountain between the peaks. The river bed was washed away by the flood, forming many tank-shaped caves. Lion Rock has many landscapes such as Lion's Nest, the No. 1 Granary in the World, Ma'an Stone, Longtan, Immortal Playing Chess Cave, Boys Worshiping Guanyin and many other magical legends about lions guarding the granary.

5. Chang'an Ding

Chang'an Ding is located in Wuping, western Fujian on the border of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi, at the southern end of the Wuyi Mountains, about 5 kilometers northwest of "Hakka Common People Town". According to local Hakka custom, the top of the mountain is called "彽". Chang'an Deng is both high and dangerous. Local data shows that this place is 1,260 meters above sea level. Within Wuping, its height is second only to Liangye Mountain (1,538 meters above sea level), the highest peak at the southern end of the Wuyi Mountains.
