Matters needing attention
1. Get the change ready. If you don't have Hong Kong dollars to cross Hong Kong by bus, you can pay in RMB with the same face value (1: 1).
2. You can buy Octopus at HK$ 65,438+050 (deposit HK$ 50, including HK$ 65,438+000) at the Hong Kong subway station. Octopus is very convenient for shopping or eating by credit card in Hong Kong. You can quickly push it off at the subway service center when you leave Hong Kong (the deposit will be refunded in full).
3. Exchange HKD: You can exchange it at the bank before departure, but it is not recommended to exchange it at the port or the Hong Kong subway station. The exchange fee at the port is high, and there are unscrupulous merchants cheating in the subway (the exchange rate is too high).
After arriving in Hong Kong, you can find a special currency exchange point (starting from 500 RMB, you must look at the exchange rate marked on their window before exchange).
4. You can stay in Hong Kong for no more than 7 days at a time.
The telephone numbers of Hong Kong and Macau are 999. Please call the police in time if there is any dispute (English and Cantonese will be more effective (/□)).
6. The first five ports are suitable for personal travel and shopping.
What should I do if I lose my Hong Kong and Macao Pass in Hong Kong or Macao?
The Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security and the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department authorized Hong Kong China Travel Agency to handle valid entry-exit passes (commonly known as temporary passes) for mainland tourists who lost or damaged their passes to and from Hong Kong and Macao.
As long as the passengers bring proof documents to the CTS accreditation store, they can complete the accreditation formalities within 1 working days at the earliest and return to their hometown.
Step 1: Call the police. The telephone numbers in Hong Kong and Macau are 999. If you are in Macao, you need to report the loss with an "alarm receipt" to the Exit-Entry Office of the Macao Police Department.
Step 2: The party concerned (yes, that is you) shows the "Certificate Loss Alarm Receipt" issued by the police.
Apply for a one-time valid entry and exit permit from China Travel Agency in Hongkong or Macau, and submit an application form, two bareheaded photos and identification materials.
If you stay for proof, you can go to the Hong Kong Immigration Department to go through the formalities of extending your stay.
Step 3: The client can get a one-time entry-exit permit at the designated place according to the time and receipt of evidence collection and then return to the mainland. At this time, you must be eager to leave this unpleasant place quickly.
Application procedure:
1. If you report the loss to any Hong Kong police station, you should go through the formalities in person at the China Travel Service Office with the proof of loss.
2. Submit the completed application form for People's Republic of China (PRC) Entry-Exit Pass.
3.
Show relevant identification documents. (For example: resident identity card, original entry permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao and household registration book; If it is damaged, it shall present the damaged Hong Kong and Macao Pass and endorsement, and submit 1 copy; )
4. Provide two personal recent bareheaded color optical photos, with a blue background or a white background (the specification is 48 x 33 mm);
5. Go to the original acceptance point for evidence collection according to the specified time;
6. After obtaining the temporary permit, go to the Hong Kong Immigration Department (address: 5/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong 1 Counter) to go through the departure formalities in person.
Charge:
1 It takes only 1 working day at the earliest and 3 working days at the latest to apply for a valid entry and exit permit, and the charge for fast processing will be higher. The fees are as follows:
-1 working day: HK$ 450
-Two working days: 350 yuan.
-3 working days: 200 yuan.
Note: The 24 hours after the application is accepted is 65,438+0 working days. Public holidays in Hong Kong are not working days, and only some registered stores are open on Sundays and public holidays.
