According to legend, Mount Emei Jiulao Cavern is a fairy cave with "immortal life" in it. It is even rumored that this place was once the Dojo of Green Snake Xiaoqing in The Legend of White Snake. Since the Qing Dynasty, many people have come here every year to explore the secrets, hoping to get the so-called "immortal life" or martial arts cheats, thus soaring all the way.

But at that time, Mr. Yi Ruilong published an article about what he saw and heard, which helped us uncover this mysterious Jiulao Cavern. It is not very detailed, but it is the publication of these articles that attracted the attention of Sichuan researchers and finally decided to allocate 30,000 yuan to explore the mysterious Jiulao Cavern, of which Mr. Yi Ruilong was the main participant. It was during this expedition that the mystery of Jiulao Cavern was completely uncovered.

Jiulao Cavern is 1.505 meters long, and the distance from the hole to the deepest part is about 800 meters. Among them, there are 67 holes, all of which are staggered and connected, and the layout is extremely complicated. By analyzing the composition of limestone, dolomite and bottom layer in the cave, relevant researchers determined that the cave was a three-dimensional network structure formed under the impact of water flow during the Cambrian period.
