Article 45 Small animals refer to cats, dogs or other small animals kept at home. The transportation of small animals should be handled in accordance with the following regulations:

Passengers must make a request when making a reservation or purchasing a ticket, and provide an animal quarantine certificate. They can only be checked in with the carrier's consent.

Passengers should transport the small animals to the airport by themselves to go through the check-in procedures at the time designated by the carrier on the day of flight.

Containers for transporting small animals should meet the following requirements:

(1) Can prevent small animals from destroying, escaping, and extending out of the container to damage passengers, luggage or cargo.

(2) Ensure air circulation to prevent small animals from suffocating.

(3) It can prevent feces from overflowing and contaminating the aircraft, on-board equipment and other items.

Small animals carried by passengers cannot be transported in the cabin unless authorized by the carrier.

The weight of small animals and their containers should be charged separately according to the excess baggage fee.

Therefore, they cannot be brought into the cabin and must be checked as baggage.
