A small river passes through the town, and the ancient Tingsi Bridge rises across the river, telling the vicissitudes of the Millennium. Legend has it that thousands of years ago, a man named Ding built this small bridge with his life savings. Later, in order to commemorate him, it was named "Dingsi Bridge", and with the help of literati, three points of water was added before the word "Ding" and "Si", which became the current name.

There is a unique small wooden boat dock south of the Yangtze River on the river. Tingsi Bridge used to be an amphibious wharf, and the prosperity of commerce was the reason for the rise of the ancient town.
